After having thick carpeting and with thick underlay fitted today in the man cave it is like walking on air but unfortunately my chair no long glides/rolls as it sinks into the carpeting so am looking fo a mat. Any suggestions/links? I suppose something like this is what I need? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Carpet...ansparent/dp/B004VQX9ZW/ref=zg_bs_200980031_1
A chair mat. Man, you certainly do know how to party! I've got one of these in the larger size and no cracks to speak of after 18 months of near daily use - http://www.floormats.co.uk/chairmats/office-chair-mat-lip-carpet Some of the customer reviews on Amazon are less than favourable for the one you linked, specifically with regards to cracking. But... at the same time... it is a chair mat.
Actually that was just a link to the sort of thing I need but I have decided on this one as it matches my new roller blinds. http://www.amazon.co.uk/etm®-Office...=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B00QF3ZUE2 Party I have forgotten the meaning of the word.
Mat arrived on Friday damaged. Not because of poor handling by the courier but had been packed that way. It had a long scrape the full length of the mat so not acceptable and returned. Desk arrived yesterday also damaged. A couple of marks from a puncture of the cardboard packaging but as it was on the underside I decided to kerp it. Also a large wall unit artived a week or so ago also slightly damaged by poor packaging. The damage was at the back so unseen and received a small refund. All three items bought from Amazon though via companies selling under the umbrella name of Amazon. Hope my run of bad luck improves as far as damaged goods are concerned as I am sure Amazon will think I am at some sort of scam.
Decided just to take the refund and not replace as I really did not like the look of it when I put it on the carpet.
