Sadly not, although the park (sorry, 'Parc') has its own equivalent (which I didn't do either). It was mostly for the kids (my daughter, aged 3, and the other couple's son, aged 18 months) so plenty of swimming and playground visits. The other bloke and I did get a day to ourselves for activities, though: quad-biking (which I enjoyed far more than I expected) and crossbow.

To save the moderators some time: STOP POSTING OFF-TOPIC, HALFACREE. WE HAVE A GENERAL DISCUSSION SECTION FOR A REASON.

@Bit-Tech... as you often factor in the software side of things with regards to NAS, any chance of doing a group test type thing for media centre software, XBMC/Kodi/Plex? As I know very little about these (never heard of Plex or Kodi before) and I am sure there are others like me who would appreciate this. Or maybe a referral to another article regarding this elsewhere... Thanks.

I think that's a great idea given the lack of support for wmc moving forward. Although, the scope of people using them is clearly diminishing hence why they probably culled it themselves. I've been using an ASUS media player for some time which is linked via the network to my WHS. With the advent of "SmartTV's" and iPlayer, SkyGo, etc etc a HTPC kind of makes more sense now as not all TV hardware/software can handle every video format or even allow to use the relevent apps on the os.

Paul Thurrott claims that Microsoft may well fill the hole left by WMC with an Xbox One shaped peg.

What? No more MCE? Guess my HTPC will be staying on Win7 for the time being, as jinq-sea says, great tools around for adding to the WMC experience!

I have 2 media centres here, both use Win7 WMC, so this is very annoying.
I have 4 tuners and is used to supply ALL of our TV viewing and recording.

It does look like I will have to take the plunge on MythTV at last, yet another reason to use Linux!
MS is not doing itself any good.
