Modding Threw the $$ down.....LCD

    Just threw down some $$ and got a LK204-25-PC and install kit from MO. Cant wait till it gets here. My very first MOD. Cathode or neon is next in line.

    All you LCD gurus clue me in to the best software/setups to do. Scroll PC temps? Scroll a message (can it do this?)?

    What does all the current software allow you to make appear on the LCD???

    I have yet to get an LCD but will soon....I've read as many articles as I could to get all the info i needed!! as for the software... LCD Center and LCDRIVER are the ones that everybody suggests and MrHaz made a little ditty called HazLCD that he made for this article . OH...and Mother Board Monitor 5 (MBM5) will be needed as well.
    I would say just look around the software for little things to play with (like I do)OR ask MrHaz!!

    The LCDriver main page has a pic of the Matrix Orbital LK204-25PC on it. Can anyone say DROOL?? Can't wait till she arrives!!!

    I recently reviewed the Crystalfontz 632 16x2 Serial LCD Kit. It will give you some ideas on what you can do with an LCD. The same applications also work on Matrix Orbital LCD's. More details here:

    Don't forget to try LCDstats... another great program with keypad and GPO support... I use it here to control my winamp :D turn the volume up and down... it's great.

    Spiffy or Spiffing was a word used by snobs in the late '80s early '90s.

    www.dictionary.com deffinition:

    Smart in appearance or dress; stylish.

    A phrase commonly used was "Spiffing ol' chap!"

    So now you know:)

    Completly irrelevant to this forum but hey a little digression never hurt anyone. So now back to modding!
