    Hi guys.

I've just built a new ring using an MSI Z87i, Fractal node 304 and a 4690k.

Unfortunately MSI placed the cpu socket far too close to the PCI slot making most air coolers, including my zalman, redundant.

So I have narrowed my choice down to a refurbished H55 or a refurbished H60, both from scan.
Is there much of a difference between these?

What fans are recommended to pair with one of these out of interest?

It would definitely be quieter. My personal favourites are the cooler master jetflos. High static pressure and air flow.

Put a SP120 on my cooler and it is so much better - it makes a much quieter and more tolerable noise. No idea what the temperature of the room is (but it's fairly toasty in my house) but my 2500k idles at 36c and topped out at 72c with a few hours of demanding gaming with a 4.6ghz OC.

    Very pleased. :thumb:
