Does anybody here know much about the corsair tx650? I am looking to upgrade my GFX card at some point and Im not sure how this psu is limiting my choice? I am currently using a ATI/amd4870 which has 2 power lines going into it (not sure what voltage)

    But yeah anyone? :)

The PSU is a strong one, and should handle any new card you put in your system.

What're you planning to upgrade to?

I currently have a Q6600 cpu so nothing amazing.... No point in spending loads of money if my cpu is going to hold me back. It can barely handle simple tasks :p

IIRC, TX650s only have two 6+2pin PEG (PCIe) connectors, so that's one limiting factor, unless you are willing to use 4pin peripheral (molex) to PEG adapters.

    Yeh, you just connect it.

(Not that you would need to unless you went Xfire)

TX650 is good (as long as you don't mind non-modular)

I would not advise those adapters... there's a very simple reason why PSUs only come with a certain amount of connectors.

Seeing as I am only looking into using one card until I buy an entirely new system. What am I really limited to? I don't need anything amazing as the most demanding game I play is league

With a TX650 you are pretty much only limited by cable management.

(It will be fine for any single GPU)
