    I've had this tiny cactus for at least 10 years now, and this is the first time it got flowers. The buds developed over the last few days, and the flowers were only open for a few hours, so I'm glad I took some pictures. :)

    Found some baby spiders on my wheelie bin. They're only the common garden variety but it's still fun to watch them explode everywhere when you touch them before returning to a little huddle.

    They're so tiny my macro at 1:1 wasn't getting nearly close enough. I needed lots of magnification so I took them with a 50mm lens reversed onto the 90mm macro.

    I had those in a christmas-tree once, guess how much joy I had upon returning after a few days finding an arachnic-invasion in my livingroom...:eeek:

    Yeah, I burned the house down after taking the photos. You can't be too safe.
