It's possibly the "bravest" piece i have ever heard by a "black metal" band.
    That's not criticism, that's a compliment...

Aurora; weird little Norwegian singer/songwriter, makes awesome music

almost sounds like they have used a PVC-pipe instrument on this one..

This was released 16 years ago yesterday, I was sixteen when it came out. I feel old.

    Play it loud!

That was awesome. Looks like it would be a lot of fun to play as well. IT definitely had some spinal tap moments too. :D

He wrote it as a piece to show off the synthesizer but it's that starting riff on the guitars and drums that gets me.

have to admit to being a life time fan of bosa nova, if I had to listen to only one type of music for the rest of my life it might have to be well made bosa nova music, its so rich beautiful expressive thoughtful and rhythmically passionate soft jazzy, you get the picture. there are some gems in this vid, let it play in the back ground for an hour and you will be rewarded.

Floex (the guy behind Machinarium, Samorost soundtracks) shared this on his facebook.

Spectacular. It has been long since I was last so completely blown away by a piece of music.

Off-Topic: Remarkable how much of a difference headphones make with this one. I first listened to it with my old HD560, but got bored halfway and put something else on. Listening with my AKG K501 a while later made a night and day difference, though both headphones are normally similar in character (spacious sound, great mids, and no lows to speak of). The K501 seems to add some kind of texture and crispness to low female voices, which elevates the entire piece from "meh" to "wow". ;)
