It's absolutely booming on a bacon sandwich. It's improved yet further with a dollop of chili jam, and on freshly baked bread.

Can anyone tell that I'm really hungry?

Looks like im going to Sainsburys then got a few ideas for this stuff.

Im curious what it would do to a normal tomato pizza sauce, would it give it a nice smokey bacon note? I must find out

    It's pretty awesome stuff, my serving suggestions are;

    On a Cheese burger
On a toasted English muffin topped with a over easy fried egg.

I'm not a a fan of coffee so I'm think next batch to change the recipe to use reduced down coke to serve as the office and honey (or syrup) component.

(also they have it in my local Tesco by the mustard etc.)

Bacon tastes best when cooked on a charcoal bbq.

How about Bourbon Cream or Custard Cream spread? Both of them are amazing.

They also do one with chorizo which is nice. Been getting these for a few years but seems Sainsbury's just started. Was in some Tesco for while I think. Gave some to my American bacon obsessed friend who added it to more bacon

I just joined the bacon jam club,!
I was in Sainsbury's this afternoon with my Mrs (unusual to be without kids and in a supermarket - the joys of online shopping) and remembered about this porcine substance. When I got to the correct shelf, there was some conflict between this and the Chorizo jam - bacon won.
Test run on some toast found it to be very tasty, and quite stongly herby.
Went with a nice cold glass of cider a treat.

I heard you make shiitake mushrooms taste just like bacon. Has anybody tried this before?

    Tesco has cooked in Coke?

You English freak me out :hehe:

Yup, wrap em in Bacon, bake, throw away mushroom.

The result is even better if you remove the mushroom component alltogether. :naughty:
