Sadly quite true... I'm now totally convinced they're made of cheese. Speaking from experience, between friends cars and ones Dad and/or I have worked on. He had an absolutely horrible time with a rough running diesel one about a year ago, shortly before he retired. Ended up taking it to an ex-pupil of his, now a Peugeot Master Technician, who had to do something weird and wonderful with injector mapping in the ECU so it would run smoothly.

What is it with people these days where we have so many ways to communicate but people will not when it would be good manners at least to do so.
Next week I am having a complete kitchen refurbishment and new white or rather silver goods have been purchased. The old fridge/freezer was recycled as it was not suitable for sale or donation. But the washing machine still had plenty of life left in it. Put it on a couple of FB groups had interest but people just did not turn up. And I was giving it away. All they needed was transport and the bodies to shift it.
Bunged it on Gumtree today and the third interested party finally turned up and took it away.

All the no shows just did not bother to contact me via FB, email, text or phone call. I really find this annoying.

Geez, I hear nothing but complaints about them now. I've had some bad experiences, but mine are mostly down to lazy delivery men. I waited from a larger package from ebay, and the delivery guy posted a 'attempted delivery' slip without knocking the door or trying the doorbell. I had to open the door and run to his van to get my parcel. Then another time, the delivery guy left my parcel on my doorstep, in plain sight. Anybody could've stolen it.

Just had a phone call from Beko as I registered my new cooker yesterday and basically the guy was trying to sell an extended warranty by being economical with the truth, misrepresenting the Sale of Good Act, scare tactics and to be honest down right lies. He got very shirty when I challenged him on some or the cr** he was coming out with and thanked me and hung up.

That engine hates neglect, especially when it sits in a 307

Good engines though just a bit needy when it comes to servicing.

    Hope it ain't terminal.

Right brace has been paid for for weeks. Left one leaves me unable to walk. They'll see me in two weeks.
