My main concern with this is that there are a few games that use SecuROM but are distributed by Steam and Origin. As example, Crysis and Crysis: Warhead. While true they are older games, what will become of them?

Does any Microsoft game use SecuROM or SafeDisc?

    Yes, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004.

Personally I don't blame Microsoft for blocking SecuROM & SafeDisc, what surprises me more is that those two DRM technologies were ever allowed in the first place, trying to sort out problems with either of them is like trying to remove a virus.

Not that Wiki can be trusted as a reliable source, but I think that link only lists what SecuROM considers popular titles as it seems to be missing some games that are listed on the Wiki.

Looks like I better complete some of the games in my Steam library before upgrading to windows 10....

Here is a radical idea, the companies that made the titles offer a patch to fix them.

Radical indeed. What are the odds a patch removing DRM will be released for say.. a 13 year old game?

Crysis on DVD definitely works on Windows 10. Well, I had to install it from an ISO of the disc mounted with Daemon Tools Lite, and at first it kept crashing every time I died (rather frequently for someone of my ability), but after a while it seemed to stop crashing.

If Crysis is still working fine, then what exactly is affected by this?

Games that are supported by SecuRom only. Crysis is not on the list

    What does that mean?

Games listed on the SecuROM site won't work while other SecuROM games will? Why?

What Microsoft have blocked is the driver-based DRM.
