We don't know for sure, but all my tumour markers are "normal", so the oncologist is confident that his three cycle approach will be sufficient, but I'll get a scan in 6-8 weeks to check what's what.

Starting Kenpo again tonight after nearly 18 months of packing it up. Its with a different club but I can still carry my purple advanced belt. Not that I can live up to it at the moment! but hopefully after a few sessions I'll get moving again

 

It took 4 weeks but openreach have finally fixed my broadband.

 

First bit of nookie since the TURP a week ago. All in good working order.

Bought a controller of Ebay Vestax VCM-600 probably £150-£170 worth of kit for £75 fully working order with very small if irrelevant damage. Built like a tank gets me back into mixing music for fun

I appealed my parking tickets (Issued in April) yesterday and won! But only on a dumb technicality. The fact still remains that I parked my car legally, and then the city changed the sign without notice and issued two tickets within 72 hours. If they hadn't screwed up how the tickets were written I would still have been stuck with the tickets. That's a bad law.

But I'm happy I don't have to pay, so idk. When's the next city hall meeting?

Went to a most excellent wedding over the weekend, met some fantastic people, and had my interest in learning the piano rekindled (I used to play as a child... 12+ years ago). I now have a keyboard in my living room and am looking at sheet music!

Don't get me wrong, I've had a great day out in the sun: spent quality happy times with the family, saw the Vulcan fly again - probably for the last time, had nice food and a couple of interesting beers on the way back, but I tell you what.,.

...it feels really good to be back home again, to reach into the fridge for a cold beer, take my shoes off and collapse in my chair.

He was basically trying to scaremonger about windows 10 about how - it's just 7 and 8 mashed together, including all of the bugs from both versions and you lose all of your stuff if you upgrade. Complete moron who didn't know what he was talking about, so I gave him a taste of my logic based arguments with a statement and various proof to back it up. It was thrilling.

 

I have new legs, essentially. New braces are amazing, just sorting out various leg pains from adjustment.

Summer has appeared up here in Edinburgh for a about the fifth time this year. Really scorching hot and after taking the cat for a walk had lunch of an ice cold Fortisip. I know how to live the high life.

After a chat with the other half over the weekend, I have the spouse's approval to spend some money. As such, a music store is now holding a Jackson DKA8 for me until the end of September.
I need the buffer to ensure things work out financially.
