Hello, I ordered this pump yesterday as part of my plan to beef up my watercooling rig.

Could anyone tell me what I might need to incorporate it into my set, and where I can get these items from, please? I'd like the push to be 12mm and the suck to be 10mm, but I'm not sure which barbs to buy.

    Thanks
    Theo

    Hi Theo

for the outlet you will need 3/8" BSP thread to 1/2" hose tail but for the inlet you will need a 1/2" BSP thread to 3/8" hose tail.

/........not sure why you would want the inlet to be so small though as you will be restricting the flow of the pump quite a bit with that size barb......you would have to get it special order as well from somewhere.

for the outlet try 3/8" BSP to 1/2" hose tail if you wanted brass.

Neither is chill-tek by the looks of it :duh: think he's getting his BSP thread sizes a little mixed up :nono:

/..........you might want to amend your site also :wallbash: :D

The thread size on an Eheim 1250 inlet is 1/2" BSP and the outlet is 3/8" BSP

    and

an Eheim 1048 inlet is 3/8" BSP and 1/4" BSP outlet
    :naughty: :D

Hey guys, can we not have the 'Pimp off'. By all means give the guy some advice but let's not turn it into a sales pitch.

Now, I have some barbs which'll fit that you can buy.. ;) j/k

Thanks chaps, quite helpful there :)

I wanted to use 3/8" because I didn't really fancy changing my cpu block. I bought a waterchill kit a few months ago, and the outlet from the block is 10mm (if I remember correctly, anyway...). I'm having alook at a few other waterblocks at the moment now, so the pump barbs will wait until I've figured that out.

Thanks again, you gave me a good slap in the face and woke me up a bit about the flow :>

By the way, chill-tek, your site doesn't seem to be working at the moment? (00:43 - 13/08/03)
