Don't have a photo, but a couple of years back now saw a chromed range rover (the "sporty" model) with the number plate "G5 POT" with the space between the 5 and the P minimised, and the gap between the G and the 5 accentuated...

... being driven by an old, balding, rather overweight chap.

I was in Dubai last week and there was a disappointing lack of exotica on the roads. Perhaps they were all still in London.

I'm back in a few weeks again, so will have to keep my eyes peeled.

Spotted a Carrera GT on the opposite side of the M1 last night though... well heard it first, and then just spied its rump in my mirror.

That beamer was fugly before the hideous vinyl wrap.

On the M3/M25 last week I saw a couple of Panameras which, surprisingly, look really nice. I also saw a black 599 at the Dartford crossing - I just wish he could've opened the taps in the tunnel... *sighs*

The Panamera is actually quite an attractive car in the flesh.

And surprisingly big. Quite a surprise when you first see one after being used to the relatively compact offerings from Porsche that you normally see around.

Saw a really nice XF R yesterday - all black, black alloys, tinted windows, and red calipers. Looked SWEET. Like many other super saloons, you would not think there was a 500+hp V8 under the hood.

This Audi has been parked around the corner from me. Not sure if I like the blacked out lights front and rear.

Disgusting in every way. The audi logo on the wing mirrors really tidy that up as a horrendous looking car. Chrome door handles too....just....ugh!

I wondered about that myself. Sure I read or heard something along the lines that adding black covering to lights was a no no.

You can have covers during the daytime no bother, hell you can even have no lights at all and get a day time MOT, but you've still gotta have a rear reflector..

It might be fly eye? It's technically legal (not a tint) while cosmetically looking opaque-ish.

Either way, it's a perfectly nice car ruined by chavvy taste.

    In other news:
I saw another Panamera at the weekend - this one was brand new and parked next to me, but the owner was sitting in it and I didn't want to look like a numpty taking photos of it.
