Pure bling of the 50's I keep expecting the Fonze to turn up lol, Done some reading up on that model "The one more time" was a revamp of the 1946 Wurlitzer and the height of Deco and was made in 1986

Yeah they are some chunks alright as I said that one half filled a rubble bag of swatf ffs

 

You need a mini smelting plant.

 

I was thinking of making a flower pot furnace that would easily melt Aluminium.

The next bar will need a lot more taken off it it's 2.5inch x 2.5inch atm and needs to be 2.25inch x 2inch so going to use the fly cutter

 

Flower pot furnace? Don't you have a kiln? -although you would want to move it outside for metal pouring.
It looks like a juke box now. It also looks like Jeremy Clarkson is hiding inside it. Keep a pretty relaxed fit on the plastic seated in the aluminum. The tube I had inset in 'toad's first reservoir cracked a bit from the expansion.
-Which brings up a question: You are going to isolate the metal from the coolant, right?

It's getting there still more glass/plastic tubes to add on the front yet

There's about 1mm gap around the tube, should be good.

Yup the coolant will never come in contact with any of the metal

Hopefully a pair once I get the next one done seems I wore a cog out on the mill so I'm waiting for a new one to arrive and of course Royal fail has failed to deliver on time as usual

 

One of the crossbeams didn't go out of skew on the treadle, did it?

 

Well that settles it. You need to build a bigger mill.

I wanted the next one up from that one but was £500 more and weighed in at over 200kg so would never got it upstairs to the workshop

I'm thinking of upgrading the drive system on it to a belt drive, anyway the new one arrived today and was 10 minutes fitting here's the old offending cog lol

 

Looks more like a cam at this point. There's a joke about riding the clutch too much in there, but I haven't woke up completely.
