PRESENTAZIONE IN ITALIANO

Salve a tutti ragazzi. Ho da poco cominciato una mod su base Skylake e vorrei mostrarvela. Questa, oltre che una mod per divertimento, è anche il modding del mio PC personale, quindi voglio fare le cose bene e con i giusti tempi.


Per quanto riguarda il lato puramente modding, la mia intenzione sarebbe quella di coprire la PSU e l'area degli alloggiamenti degli hard disk (dopo aver smontato i cage per tutti i tipi di drive dalla parte frontale) con una paratia in plexiglass, che vernicerò di bianco. Nella parte verticale di tale paratia in plexiglass andrò ad inserire delle strip led, blu oppure RGB. Aggiungerò inoltre delle grafiche sulla paratia laterale non finestrata del case e applicherò degli stickers anche nella parte frontale e superiore (ma questo è ancora da stabilire).
Altri interventi saranno lo sleeving dei cavi e la verniciature/wrapping di alcuni dettagli della scheda video (probabilmente GTX 970 o forse superiore). Il colore dominante della mod sarà il bianco, con il case che resterà grigio scuro, alcuni dettagli interni che invece saranno color grigio metallico/titanio e soprattutto dettagli colorati ed illuminazione LED di colore blu. Anche le ventole probabilmente saranno a LED blu. (Rendering all'inizio del post)

PRESENTATION IN ENGLISH

Hi mates. I just started a mod with Skylake processors and I want to show it.

First of all, I'll cover the PSU and the HDD cages area with a white plexiglass plate. then I'll install some led strips in the plate. I also want to add graphics and the project logo on the not windowed side of the case.
Probably I'll also put stickers on the front and the top
The colour combination of the mod will be white (dominant colour), grey (for the case and some details inside) and blue (for coloured details, cables, leds and vents). Other intervention will be cable sleeving and VGA painting.

Un piccolo passo verso la fine della mod. Ho riscontrato un bel po' di problemi con l'installazione del sistema operativo, con un dissipatore difettoso e con delle viti dure, ma ce l'abbiamo fatta.

A small step to the end of the work. I had a lot of problems with the OS installation, a damaged CPU cooler and screws, but I did it.

L'altro giorno ho fatto un test per verificare se un'idea che avevo avuto per i led del midplate potesse funzionare: è una sorta di camera con le pareti ricoperte di carta d'alluminio. La versione definitiva non sarà assolutamente così grezza, ma questa serve a dare l'idea.

ENGLISH
A few days ago I did a test to verify if the idea I had could work: it's like a chamber with the walls covered by aluminium foil. The definitive one won't absolutely be so coarse, but it can gives an idea.

Ho quasi terminato il lavoro sul midplate, finalmente. La mia idea funziona e il risultato si può dire soddisfacente. Scusatemi per la qualità delle foto, ma attualmente la fotocamera l'ho prestata quindi non la avevo sotto mano e ho dovuto fare le foto con il mio smartphone. Ad ogni modo la mod non è ancora finita, e arriveranno presto altre foto.

Finally I've almost finished the work on the midplate. My idea works and I can say that the result is good. Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, but I lent my camera, so I had to took the photos with my smartphone. However, the mod isn't finished, and other photos will come soon.
