    Hy Guys,

this is our entry for the MSI Pro Mod Season 3 Competition.
We will build upon the base of an Inwin 805 Chassis.

It will be a futuristic and clean build with a few Details from the Star Wars Universe.

    Hardware Specs:

    MSI Z97M
    MSI GTX960 Gaming
    Intel i5 4670K
    16 GB KLEVV Cras DDR3
    480 GB OCZ SSD
650W Super Flower Leadex Gold PSU

Our Plans for this mod includes a rebuild of the Front Panel. Beside that we will change the accent color from Red to White. Inside the Case we will add a custom watercooling loop with rigid tubing a custom build Res/Pump Top Combo and a few other details. We will also change the mainboard cooler accent color from red to whithe and add the one or other detail to the board itself.

Our Case already arrived a few weeks ago so that we already could start the modding process. So i can show you a few pictures from the progress up to now.....

    Case and Hardware:

This is going to be an amazing build. That RAM looks really sick.

It´s time for the next Update:

In the last days we disassembled the Graphic Card so that we can replace the stock cooler with a nice piece from Alphacool
Naturally we won´t use it how it comes out of the box....so we already changed the Color of the Cooler from Black to White with a few black accents....

Beside that we prepared the first Cover for the inside of the Case. It´s already bended so that we can attach it to the inner Front of the Case.

    ty Marquee!!!

@Cheapskate.....that depends on how you count :D :wallbash:

if you only count those which are currently in our possession....i think then it would be something around 20-30 casemods and scratchbuilds (they are stored in different places so that i have to count them :D:D )

If you count all mods & scratch builds which we have build for us or to attend to a contest.....we will hit the 100.....and if you count ALL mods and scratch builds....even those we did for customers and which are not published anywhere.....i really dunno.....:wallbash::wallbash: :D but i think it will approx. be a lot.....:D

    Next Update:

In the last few days we cutted and bended the Cover for the PSU and we also prepared another cover for the 2x140mm Radiator which we will mount behind the Front panel.....

after a short test mounting inside the case we already started the painting process with the first layer of primer.....

and because we we just painting a few parts....we directly prepared the Radiator and the CPU Cooler for the painting process....

as next we´re going to cut out our new Front Panel.....and cut the standard Front into pieces....

Like announced in our last update we cutted the Front into pieces, but before we did that, we finished the painting process on those covers which we prepared in the last update. After finishing the painting process we let everything dry before we mount everything in the case for a quick test...

After mounting the white radiator we thought that it is a bit too much white at this point.....so we thought we should change that so we added a little more black to the radiator side.....

After that we prepared another radgrill for the small 120mm radiator which we will use on the back of the case....

Then we mounted all prepared parts in the case again so that we get an impression were we have to add some more details....

With that impression we disassembled everything again so that we could overwork the Front in the next Step. We will also add a few more black details to the GPU & CPU Cooler but that will follow after the modification of the Front.

First we made a quick sketch in which way we´re going to cut out the Front panel, then we disassembled the Front from the rest of the Case and started to cut out the middle part so that we have just a frame left.....

    ty HerrOtto!!

After our last update we continued the work and the cutting process.....

then we disassembled the complete front panel from the rest of the chassis, so that we can insert our new Front.

We had to disassemble the Front panel at this point because we had to insert our new Front between the Front Panel with the cutout and the Mainboardtray which is also connected with the Front.

After that we directly added a bit of paint so that it matches the rest of the case and will be nearly invisible until the lights turn on....

And here it is mounted on the Case again with the glass panel in front of it

Then we prepared another detail for the right side of the Case. On the left side there is that In Win Cutout in the Front Panel...so we thought why not add a similar panel on the other side....
So we prepared 2 pieces of Plexiglas....one in black with the Imperial 805 Cutout and a white piece of Plexiglas which will be placed bedind the black so that we will get a nice glowing effect....

As next we´re going to overwork all the cables from the PSU and also add some light to this build....

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays !!!
We hope you all have a great time!

Like announced in the last update.....we spent a lot of time in the last days on the Cables.....we removed all those ugly and way too short sleeves from the PSU Cables and overworked their length so that they aren´t too long or much too short....Beside that we also added a few cablecombs which we cutted from black 5mm plexiglas.....

it´s a start....but atm we´re not happy with the result....so that we´re going to reroute a few of the cables so that it will look much cleaner.

Beside that we also changed the Color of our PSU from White to black.....

And we also added a few black accents to the GPU Cooler....

Then we engraved 2 custom decals with the Imperial 805 lettering for the GPU&CPU Cooler....

As next we cutted the last parts out which we will use for this build....a few thin acrylic pieces which matches our Front, Grills etc. so that we can mount them behind those parts so that we will get nice glowing edges..

And last but not least we added a few LEDs.....

I think in the next few days....we´re going to overwork only a few last details so that we could finally assemble all parts and make the final pics

Time for the next and final update:

Like announced.....we overworked only a few last details ....one of them were the Glass Sidepanels....we cutted out a few templates which we sandblasted on the inside of the glass panels....

then we made a short test....just to see on which side the panel looks better....

and finally we decided that we will mount the panel with the vader mask on the left side of the case.
After that, we finally assembled the Hardware and filled the WC Loop so that we could make a first test of the system...

And then we made the first final shots of it....
