    Yeah, I experienced the food on my visit, still applied though but was a little late and ended up in Sciennes. I hated it at first (and had to cook for myself), was a crappy looking place, but once the others had moved in too it was fine and we got on great.

    Right about the cleaners, spose they are used to it though.

    Resnet was meant to be installed years ago but things went wrong and they were only just installing it at the end of my first year (2000/2001), heard by using tunnelling services you can get past the firewall...

    Degree: AAS in Robotics
    Classes taking now:
    English
    Macro Economics
    Programming

    Left till degree:
    Robotics finisher class
    Art class (Will be fun for me)
    Computer Systems maitenance -that's right, how to BUILD and maintain a PC! I am fighting with the school over this one.

    Starting my 2nd year of Automotive Engineering MEng SW in a couple of weeks. Was in Elvyn last year, now moving into a house with 3 mates, although we're paying £55 a week. Luckily the student loan covers it, dont know how im goin to eat tho :worried:

    What kind of work is there for someone with a PhD in pysics? just wondering, because i'm about to start down that road, not entirely sure what for, but i would like a degree and physics is just fascinating.

    Nah, way out on Park Road, about 10mins by bike. im gonna be gettin some exercise heeeheeeee house is a bit of a ghetto, but what the hell. We also got a free washing machine a some trolleys in the garden :rock:

    Hehe, I lived there in my second year, back when it was a private hall.

    Just to upset you even more, they have shared external lines for the phones, and they're not BT so your dial-up options are (basically) limited to AOL. :waah:. There's about 40 lines shared between 200. Sucky sucky!

    I was the lucky one in the flat who could connect at 57.6 every time, the other three though got about 44 tops, averaging 33. :/

    PS - What year you in? Hope that you have Nick Whittaker for programming, he rocks! :rock:

    Briarfields wasnt a MMU hall when u went was it? Hopefully now that it is theyve upgraded things a little if not ill cry.
