Did you flush the radiators before you put together the system?

    This does not look ok.
If I can do a guess I´d say the radiators weren´t flushed propper and you got production chemicals into your loop or it was the fluid.
Do I see it right, that the nickel plating from the cpu block was corroded off or are these particles/stains.
I had problems like that way back with a HD5870 while i was using destilled water and Basf G30 which was quite popular back in the days and should be no problem when mixed right.
Stupid me didn´t like the Pinkish color of the mix, and added mor of the G30, and finally added some food color (which was not an un-usual way to dye the water).
Had pretty bad stuff in my Cpu cooler, and the Plexi GPU block was a mess.
All the softener was washed out of the soft tubing.
After a complete rebuild of the loop I switched over to DP-Ultra from Aquacomputer, in the color of my choice (tried red and blue in different projects) and never had a problem again.
After a period of about 6 month the clear Tubing got some color from the fluid. It wasn´t that clear any more and got a tad blueish and red but was only visible after draining of the loop

    Thanks Hukkel...

Of course , ı flushed the rads and Copper pipes with PRİMOCHİLL Sys Prep. Pre-Treat ,
before putting system together, and rinsed with Deionized water.

After installing the system ı have rinsed whole sytem 3 times with High Purity Deionized Water.
İt worked 3 days with deionized water as trial..

and then fully discharged and filled with Primochill Fluid.

Hi you know the problems with my EK Nickel Coated Waterblocks,

This is one of the block. They are full correded at 4 months and nickel coating was robbed. You can see copper on nickel coated waterblocks.

And EK could do nothing for blocks…whic are used onl 4 months....
This is the answer of EK about the problem. Thanks !!! EK for your help…

I must do anything for waterblocks…

firstly cleared corrosion as chemically and mechanically

    than Nickel coated again

“sadly you can't do anything but to replace corroded parts.” Was the answer of EK…

And this are the results from waterblocks….

“It would be a good idea to find out what is the cause of it in order to avoid it happening in the future. “

I shall think two times when buying EK EN Waterblocks again..
You can also do so. arg-ist

Of course an new build and upgrade is coming so.on

For what it's worth I've used EK blocks for the last of my 3 water cooled builds without any problems at all with the blocks, so my suggestion would be there is something else in your loops that is stimulating the corrosion ?

Without knowing about every single component and material in the loop your guess is as good as mine as to what item or items you've used, i.e. radiator, connectors, fluid, etc. in the loop may have caused the corrosion.

    Hope that helps.

P.S. - I would also say no water cooling component manufacturer is going to warranty their equipment for use with anyone elses components and instead would only guarantee no problems if every single component in each loop is from them

Silver kill and/or copper sulphate will cause mild corrosion as will using vinegar or lemon juice to clean out components and then not flushing thoroughly.

The plating on EK blocks is only a few microns thick and supposedly for looks not for long term protection. A corrosion inhibitor will help a lot, it won't stop it but it will slow it down. Checking the ph of the fluid regularly and changing it should it start getting too acidic will help.

Thanks “uerseya “ and “big elf “

My question was “Who is guilty at this problem “…

First ı can say alt The parts are flashed with PRİMOCHİLL Sys Prep. Pre-Treat 3 times and rinsed with pure H2O over and over.

Second there was no silver coil at the loop.of course no Coppersulphate.

Used Primochill Primochill Liquid Utopia Fluid Dye Pack- BLOOD RED (contains concentrated coolant dye and Lıquid utopia protectant. And says:

“ Primochill s watercooling fluid innovation Liquid Utopia, offers a full line of protection against algae and corrosion when added to new or existing cooling loops. “

And used parts at the loops
Rads Alphacool UT 60 480 and Alphacool Monsta 240
    WB s EK Nickel coated
    Pomp Swiftech 655
    Fittings Bitspower
    Rez EK 250
    Pipes Copper and plexi
That was all ı have used….

I have bought all thise parts to use at a water cooling loop ,
I did not get them to use as DECORATION STUFF !!!

If there is no sense of warranty to thise products,
why do we pay a lot of Money to buy quality product…
There are a lot of cheap products in China to use…

I make Ph test every 3-4 months for m y sytem build , but corrosion occurred in 4 months.
