So I did some work last night.
Re drilled the mobo tray, it now has sunken holes for the back of the yellow plate's screw heads to go in, so it lies better against the black acrylic.

I also attached my *special* PCI bracket.
    Mounted the pump
    screwed the fittings in
    Realised I'm missing a fitting
    tubed up the pump
tube was wrong length so tubed it again
not 100% happy with it so may tube it AGAIN
bought more tubing and the missing fitting today

All of this I took pictures of
pictures on the SD card->in my camera->in my camera bag-> under my desk And of no use to ANYONE!!
    :p

So, another update tonight I think When I've done some more

    So, so so so.
A mix of good and bad, I am all full of bad, but I was looking forward to getting this done.

Before the disappointment, here's some pics :D

Cool feature of this case is any side can be removed leaving the rest intact:

This was to allow me access to the Mobo:

I decided to put all the fittings in:

    Then my *special* PCI 'bracket':

These will be trimmed down later, and a couple of nuts will hold the GPU in place at the top.

Mobo back in and pump tubed up:

    Now for some BENDING:

Now here comes the disaster.....Heatgun is all European plug :(
My only eu->GB plug converter is for a shaver and fuse cannot take a heatgun, nor can a bigger fuse fit.....

Not to let that deter me, I went to the kitchen and used the hob :D

    First 90 Degree:

    Pfft, who needs a heatgun!!
    wimps!!

    then the real disaster struck.....
I was using the monsoon pipe cutter do-dad....and I can only go with "I'm a bit of a muppet" because I only went and cut through the bloody metal:

I'm not overly pissed off at breaking the guide, but I've gone and cut the tube wonky now :p

I can "Probably" fix it with sandpaper, and I have more tube:

But to be honest, that's me for today :(
missing fitting arriving tomorrow, I'll grab my sandpaper and a new plug, and go for a fresh start tomorrow.

    Thanks for reading :)

Just use a fine file to make the end straight again if you get it a bit wonky.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Wooo,
    Got my missing fitting
    got more flexy tube
    Got my British plug
on my way home I'll pick up my sandpaper and Take 2 will be upon us :D

    Another update,
Every day I get closer..... I think :p

Missing fitting and some more tubing:

Close ups of fitting as I was killing time:

    Fitting in it's place:

    New plug for heatgun:

First pipe in it's pipe hole!!

Second pipe bent, the first with the heatgun:

    I'm once again a failTrain:

    There were then more failures....
I'm not gonna lie, it wasn't pretty......
From now on, my advice to people is buy twice the hardtubing you think you need :p

    Here's how I've left it:

Do not fear, that pipe on the right just needs cleaned as it's full of plastic from reaming :p

now I have one bend left (and might re-do some) it's the run from the pump up to the top right rad....I think I need to give myself time to think about it... I only have one piece of pipe long enough so need it to go well :D

The rest will be soft tubing till I get the last rad.

    Thanks for reading :)

Right, so another 'no picture' update I'm afraid :(
It was late when I finished and went straight to bed rather than posting/uploading pictures.

I re-bent the tube I was unhappy with, Am now happy with it.

I tried to do the epic run from pump->rad and encountered a problem. The silicone insert is not long enough to reach where I need to bend :/
Not sure what to do here....Try and find a longer insert? or change the routing to use a different route?
I'll post some horrific paint mockups later if I have time.

I decided to tube up the rest of the cpu loop with soft tube to leak test the hardline.....
    ...It leaked
ho ho ho what fun this is :p
It just dripping out of the straightest and easiest piece.....and I have no clue why
I'l need to get it apart, look at it, maybe it needs re-glued/the glue didn't cover the whole sleeve.
The loops draining for now, I need to solve this long pipe issue

    Update update :D

Water cooling was worse than I thought....more leaks.

    All now fixed *crosses fingers*
Down to a lack of glue on the collars *face palm*

    I re-did the tube I didn't like:

    The bottom one:

Tubed it up with flexy, so I can keep my current rig up with gpu till fittings come monday(I hope ocuk)

    Here's pictures of yesterday's leak:

Here we are where I am now, letting the pump run for a leak test:

Sorry about picture quality, I'm not giving myself enough time, it's all point and click right now :p

    Until next update!!!

    Here we go then!

So I got my fittings I needed, and some more acrylic tubing (I'll always need more :p )

First off, I got a shiny bitspower fitting to split the pump->top right rad run up.

This is due to it being so long that the insert wouldn't fit :( so I opted to make it a bit easier, and buy a bitspower fitting (I've always wanted one :D )

Unfortunately I need different tubing for that run, so it's planned I'll put it in when I've got the last rad, as I'll be draining then anyway.

    Onwards!

    Blocking up the GPU time!

    Lovely 290x:

    Old cooler off:

    Cleaning up the Die:

    Lovely polished block on:

    Tubing it all up:
New acrylic piece for rad->GPU, soft tubing from there, as this will be replaced when last rad is in position.

Putting my Vardar fans in place (still to be sleeved )

A wee leak test later and!

    IT'S ALIVE!!!!

Until I've got the cabling done I'm running on mobo headers, so 4 fans :(
But idling at 16, so that's pretty beast mode :D

New desk arrives tomorrow, so bumblbuild can get up off the floor :)

    Until next time!!!

    So,
    Exciting times!!
A wee package came in for me today:

    Last one :D

Now this means draining the loop and more bending but hey ho :p
I will probably not do it tonight, as I need to work on the pump->rad connection, need some of than e22 tubing.

Once these are in I can get some lovely Mayhems in the old girl :)

Also looking into pulling the trigger on the sleeving supplies to get that all prettied up :)

Last but not least I will hopefully have a picture heavy surprise for people in the near future ;)

Stay tuned and thank you for reading!!

    Hello hello everyone.

I've had a couple of upsets, more stuff being bought this week, last of the fans, odds and ends, hopefully the cabling things :D

    So, Things that have changed:

New desk! (something that can support the case :p )

(And that's a 22" monitor next to it, for a sense of scale :p )

    New and last radiator in:

    GPU all hardline'd in now
    Messy leak test shots:

Not as straight as it could be, but I can live with it for now:

    Card focus:

    Tube focus:

Needs fans :( but Tuesday for them :)

In other news, contacted people about getting some filters, not that that matters when there's no roof :p

Next task is getting her cables all prettied up :)
Also the last tube run (pump to rad) which I need ANOTHER fitting for, which comes Friday, will get done and I'll get some lovely Mayhems fluid in :)

    Until next time :)

    Hello hello,

Here we are with another update :D

So the final tubing run which was holding me back was the Pump->Rad run.
    And here we are:

My new fitting came and made it all possible :)

I think it's coming together nice, I'm really happy with the parallel line look.

And last but not least, the loop being finished allows me too.........

Fill it with swanky fluid :D!!

That ends this weeks update :)
Next week should be the cable attack, maybe more surprises ;)

    Until next time :)

    Hello Everyone!

    Massive and Exciting news!

I'd like to announce that Avexir are now sponsoring my build :D:D
A massive thank you to Peggy over at Avexir, who's supplied something which, if I say so myself, is nothing short of perfect for this build.

Do you know what it is? :p

I have to say, these oooze class.
The box is in every way a great way to let you know that you're about to open something special.

Each stick is sitting in its own special slot, keeping the RAM in place and displayed in the box.

OOOOooo Don't you just love that heatspreader :D

Enough playing around with it, there's a number one thing you're to do with RAM.... Getting it in ;)

    And then, Turning it on:

    Ooo the lights :)

    A bit better lighting:

Now I will take some more pictures of the RAM sitting in the system as a whole next wee.
Cabling stuff is on its way and will really help neaten the inside of the case.
Also it'll let me get the fans all on and see how far these babies can go ;)

A big thanks to Avexir again!
    Until next time!

    Hey everyone.

Sorry there's been little updates recently, I've been a bit busy with some other things.

I've sleeved up all the fans, made up a splitter cable I'm really not happy with so will do again.
Still need to do the mobo extensions, been trying some ideas for a nice curve.

but in some lovely picturey news Instead of making my peripheral cables I thought I'd treat myself:

A bit thank you to the people over at Pexon PCs who helped me select the colour combo and overall delivering a lovely service.
Just to mention this isn't sponsorship, These cables are worth every penny and I'd pay it again :D

    Double sleeved:

One for my mic, one for the keyboard (mouse and headset will no doubt follow in future)

I'm sorry for such little progress everyone, I'm really gonna try and get more done next week, Until then :)
