Awesome AWESOME work!:thumb:  :dremel:

The chrome looks incredible and I would have never thought to take a clear case and add neon or colored perspex pieces throughout to get an effect like you did.

This one definetely ranks up with the likes of Mashie, Macro, and others!

Way to rock the moddin scene!:cooldude:

    Good good ;)

Excellent work you've been doing.. Truly excellent. I agree with an earlier post, you could go into business doing this! Amazing :D

Shame about the delay to the update, but reasonable given that you were [H]'d. I have to wonder what will happen if the /. effect occurs though. Somehow I doubt bit-tech has the bw to deal with that ;)

As for the de-stress.. Aint that sleep? ;)

have not a clue how i missed this !

awesome - great attention to detail - this is simply stunning - i had toyed with the idea of stainless overbraid for watercooling - but not explored it to any length

picked this up from hardocp - cant see how i missed it !

can't wait for the finished item :)

Thanks for the comments Hi-TEK :) Looking at the excellent mods you have done in the past I feel /humbled.

Someone else suggested the chrome split loom and I replied at length earlier in the thread as to my reasons for not using it and the disadvantages it has in comparison to the stainless steel hose. I did buy some and play around with it to see how I liked it but it never came close to the steel hose in looks or function and in my opinion, really would have detracted from the mod. I agree the same 'sort' of idea could have been done with chrome split loom but not the same idea.

I believe that it's all in the details, the elements that maybe only register in your subconcious at first but combine as a whole to become greater than the sum of the parts. Anyway, just my 2 cents worth.

Btw, 'scuse the dumb question, but what is a '/.' ??

Clearly (no pun intended) the most beautiful mod I've seen.

One thing G-nome: I was looking at Aqua-Computer's blocks and reservoirs, and I think they fit into your theme as an alternative (but what the hell do I know? You could teach those "Queer Eye" guys about style). Maybe the next project?

    http://www.bruinhoopreport.com/evo11_detail_300

Of course, you'd need to chrome the damn things, but if you can chrome plastic, I'm sure you could handle that!

    And

    Sorry to be presumptuous.

Beautiful mod. Seriously dude, you should sell these things. Steve Jobs would probably want to buy them.

Read his post properly, he knows what broadband is :)

I can't wait to see more of this case, I know it's going to blow me away with every update like only a select few projects can.

Maybe we should find G-gnome an agent to help him deal with his new-found fame :D

    Ahh :)

I hope you've taken growth in slashdotters into account ;)

I'd quite like to see /. directed at m$, see how long it took to cripple their isp :p

Not that I have anything against akamai or anything, but they do host m$ :p

I think you'd need more than just /. to take out M$. Their site is seemlessly mirrored across the world. They have enough redundant b/w to accomadate the surge viruses such as MSBlast and Sorbig-F both in terms of the worms propogation and the users surge to 'patch' their software.

Please try to keep this on topic, it's a long enough thread already and I'm sure G-gnome would appreciate it.

Not to contradict, but during the last Blaster virus scare, I tried to get to M$ and I couldn't get through... It gave me the classic "The server is too busy to accept additional requests at this time. Please try again later" prompt...

Crippled, by their own patch for their own problem...

    Back on Topic::::

G-gnome, That's one of the best mods I've ever seen started... Keep up the good work, Can't wait to see it finished... Much better already than the inspiration IMO
