Graphics Asus 970 strix screen tearing etc

    Hi guys,

    Problem has only just started happening. Have two cables and happens on both, could be monitor. See signature for spec. Maybe power supply problem?

    Check video, sorry about quality. Had to use front facing camera.

    What happens when you use the on-board gpu?

    Are your keyboard lights going all funky too? It looks like they're flashing on/off as if they aren't receiving enough power.

    Nah, they are fine. Think it's just the bad camera adjusting to the light.

    Couldn't get my onboard to work when I just swapped it over. Need to look into it.

    You need to enable the on board in the bios

    Can't seem to find it in asus uefi. In advanced somewhere probably.

    Cricket and football today!!!! And rugby....

    I bought another lead, HDMI - DVI D

    Everything is working fine, don't know whether it was the leads of the DVI ports on graphics card.

    When i used dvi to vga i has weird screen ripples,

    dvi to dvi i got the screen tearing and on off problems,

    They were both super cheap leads, couple of quids worth and the dvi - vga had an adapter from vga - dvi.
