This is terrible news indeed. A great guy and one of my all-time favorite modders. My deepest condolences to his family.

My condolence to Family and Friends, I never got to know him in person but on the forums he was always positive and giving good feedback on peoples builds. Also his work was phenomenal. R.I..P Wayne!

My condolences to his family and friends.

It was a pleasure getting to know Wayne. He modded for the fun of it, to push his creativity and skill. That spirit will be greatly missed.

I've only ever spoken to Wayne through the modding forum here and didn't really know the man. One thing I do know about Wayne however (because of the vast amount of easily accessible evidence), is the mans creativity and singular, totally original vision. I don't say this lightly, and have mentioned this to Wayne many times. In a world (and I'm speaking about the 'modding' world these days) full of sameness and me too wannabes, Wayne's work was a breath of fresh air. His designs came straight out of his head with little or no influence from the all the projects going on around him. In short the man was genuine and true.

'Stealthlow', to me, is the best example of a finished work and 'Lean and green' demonstrates the crazy, no holds barred output of the mans brain.

    Way too early Wayne.

    Rest in Peace, modder buddy.
He was a very genuinely nice person, and it was a lot of fun watching his work evolve over the time he was here.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends who lost someone they loved.

Like many others I did not know him personally.
But spoke to him a few times online and I had enormous respect for his craftmanship using metal. He truely had his own style, one could recognise a mod from him from a room filled with mods.

I've never seen any one display such patience. He must have dipped and stripped one of his builds about five times. Laquodising was it?

I'd have thrown the thing at the wall :wallbash:

Like Bnegs I did become rather tearful the other day. I didn't know Wayne IRL but that doesn't take away the fact that I knew him through his work and logs and to that ends I am still absolutely gutted that he's gone.

Every one has their own flair, their own style. Like, totally unique. And Wayne had that in abundance. And like any one you lose (whether you know them IRL or you know them through a forum or what not) you still take a loss when they're gone, and it's still really sad.

I only really understood that recently.

I found this pic in the Stealthlow's project log, I thought it should be here.

    This is unbelievably sad news...
His imagination was endless, he was a design master of modders, I loved his work.
Such a talented modder, all those designs over the years, he only needed a saw, few files and piece of aluminum to create something unique. I was.. I am a huge fan of his work, we talked hundreds of times about modding over all those years on this forum, I cannot believe that he is gone:(
This is sooo unfair, such a young guy, another lost battle...
I will truly miss him, his comments, his work.. RIP Waynio...:(

I'm certain you had the same response. I did not know him personally but it is not necessary for a life to touch others.

I pray you find comfort and peace during this extremely difficult time.
