    Hey all,

I'm in the process of attempting to build my first ever custom case. Does anyone know of any sort of bracket that can be bought to mount optical drives, bay res, fan controller ect?

I cave got an old case I can cut up but would prefer to buy something that looks better.

    Cheers

Building a custom case? Why not build the mounts?
Can be very simple or, you can make something more interesting.

Yes it's a desk case. It's my first attempt at anything like this so very much learning as I go. The main build is from mdf. What would you say is best to make the mounts from? I've had a good Google but can find much of any help.

    1.5mm aluminium sheet.

Just my opinion - Attila's the one to ask about Al.

I think that's going to be the route I take. I may be a little out of my depth already so want to make it as simple as possible.
