Bought a pair of cleats for my son the other day (for artificial turf).

I don't know where I failed as a parent, but for some reason he really loves playing football (of course he compensates by piloting small remote controlled aircraft around the house, so there is hope for him yet). And since he also has a thing for shoes this made him very happy.

Popped for a vinyl plotter, specifically a Silhouette Cameo 2, so now I can get my sticker and vinyl game on :p

Truthfully I've been needing one of these for a while now. Many times paint is not the best medium for touching a part up, it's also really handy for making stencils.

Honestly, the thought of owning a 3D printer really intrigues me, but I have no clue as to what I would actually do with it...

After a recent splurge on household furniture, kitchenware and white goods.... I thought I'd treat the missus!

Then she'll have little ground for complaint when I get mine!

Nice. I'm a new 3D printer owner myself, but I paid a whack more than that...!

Careful with your nuts, you don't want to crack the acrylic. This is the reason I wanted a metal frame: I can be less than subtle when tightening things, and I know I'd crack acrylic within 5 minutes of owning it.

Refresh to my tired Inspire 9s

$50 on Amazon.com, but out of stock with the seller, so Amazon decided to be awesome and dispatch me a pair from their own stock at the same price.

    Go Amazon.

It's really difficult finding shoes that can double as sports/long distance walking and smart casual. That's usually what I look for. Couldn't find any anywhere and settled on these. I am not regretting it, they are super comfortable and really nice to run in or wear the whole day. Will just have to find a different pair of shoes for the other occasions.

No such thing, If you can find them in a colour that's not 115% garish then you're doing well.

It does my head in especially on a 1-2 night business trip. The need for three pairs of shoes - business, casual and gym/running - takes me right out of what would otherwise be carry-on territory :/

At least these could make do for (very) casual if they absolutely need to, unlike my inspire 9s which were luminous blue

If I do, there's an ally frame for this model on the bay for around £60. :thumb:

    Sweet.
I built my own RepRap, but that looks like a very nice piece of kit - and cheap too. Welcome to the club of 3D printer owners - you may never see daylight again. :thumb:

I have a local friend with a Mendel, who I can ask about stuff & filament suppliers etc.
Mine arrives (flat packed) in about 3 weeks.

EDIT: Just had dispatch email from Gearbest, they say around 7-10 business days! :D
