Dave you would not care to rewrite this to take into account my stupidity., what do you mean in other words?
The v2 lets you set temperature curves for individual fans, and you can set them up to react to either the CPU or the GPU temperature. e.g. if fans 5 and 6 are on your GPU radiator, or just simply pointing at the GPU, you can have those fans react to the GPU temp instead of the CPU temp and set up speed curves to suit each one. The original Grid+ (v1) would let you select CPU or GPU temperature, but all fans would react to that temp only.
Cheers but not something I am likely to worry about. I really bought this as neater way of controlling the 4+ fans I will have in the Carbide 240.
I hated the recon as it was so temperamental. Mine should arrive tomorrow just ordered a couple of extra fans, so hopefully get this transfer to the new case at the weekend.
Never had a problem with the Recon but the Grid is a much neater installation and I can use the Recon in my backup/Print server.
