Is there a Steam sale? Store looks normal to me and GTA is still £26 :sigh:

£26 is the discounted price, it's 33% off until the 23rd.

I absolutely loved that game until it came time to play as Trevor. Sadly spending what seemed like forever climbing up onto a crane and taking pics and then driving a slow truck started to bore me, and his missions didn't really get any better from there (just some quite hard shooting scenes etc).

Shame. Maybe I will go back to it again at some point but Trevor just annoys the crap out of me.

Well, those two hours flew by. :eeek:

Wow, GTA has come-on a fair bit. That's the first game I've played since upgrading the PC that's made me appreciate how far games have moved forward. There's so much going on and it looks fantastic. I'm gobsmacked (..again. I leave so long between upgrades that this always happens. :D)

Now the difficult thing is going to bed and not loading it up again for a "quick blast". :worried:

Edit: temps are still looking good too: Max CPU: 56c, GPU: 69c. :cooldude:

So. New beard trimmer is excellent. Wet/Dry, 1hr use per charge, gives 5 o'clock shadow without guard.

Downside is they say the blade will need replacing every 4 months, given 2 uses per week.

    TL;DR 8.6/10 :thumb:

Ah sexy beast. For $60, the paint job and build is really great for a "compact" case. And the rad-size fitting options is great, and the reason I picked this one with my 2x140mm Corsair AIO. Comes with a great silent 200mm front intake fan too.

Might need a new trimmer soon myself. Thanks!

After coming home on Monday (after a terrible day, as these things normally work) and finding my 3G/sec 120GB SSD in my MBP had died (presumably... hard to tell exactly), I decided "F*** it" and upgraded a little bit.
    a 240GB 6G/sec (allegedly) one of these.

And one of these (since they cost a FORTUNE here - and I need one):

When asking the wife "and what if it's the HDD controller in the notebook that's shot?", she simply said "well, then you have an upgrade for the new notebook already" - now the fight is with myself to refrain from just declaring the controller Bust.

Wanted one of these since they came out, a lot of money for 'just a case' but itll serve me well for the next few years just like my HAF 912 Plus has done

Lower thigh to upper shin across the knee cap, took about 4 hours. The photo really doesn't do it justice at all... applied a geometric stencil for guide lines and free handed everything else.. Absolutely love it

His unique abstract style really sets it off

    I only want the base.

I only needed an A4, just enough to plug a IO shield hole so I can mount all of the rear connections in there. Plastic is easy to work with and doesn't conduct leccy too so no chance of a short.

I'm going to need to order a latching power button because the one in there is momentary but I don't know the size yet so haven't ordered.

And finally, this thing I have had sitting in a box for two years.

Actually no that isn't finally, this is.

I've a sneaky feeling I am going to need a boat load of that before I'm done :D

    Thanks mate, appreciate that :)

Yeah after 3 hours it started to get a little tender, the last hour was probably a solid 8 out of 10 on the pain scale adding those little extra details.

I have a habit of poor timing with most of my purchases unfortunately, like shopping for a winter jacket in the height of summer.
