I've not been on Bit-Tech for months and have just come back to find this out. I feel gutted. RIP Tel, the place won't be the same without you.
Today, 7th of Sep 2016 I though to myself "hey I should check the bi-tech forum and see what's new after months" and I decided to mess with Teeletubi in the hate thread (i messed with him for a looong time, it was always fun) and then I realiced thanks to Noiz that he is no longer with us, never to late to wish all the best to his family. may he rest in peace. or burn in hell as he best wanted
I've literally just done the same Paisa. **** me, the guy gave me some right chuckles over the past few years. Rest peacefully man. B
It's funny, I have been absent from the forum for so long, yet for whatever reason, both Tel & Carrie popped into my head this afternoon during a long shift and I thought it would be nice to pop in and see if they were still active. Today is the first I have heard this news and I can only say I'm deeply sad. I wish I had visited sooner, I wish I had got to know Tel just a little more. But I feel he himself would rather reflect on the positive. From personal experience, as brief as it may have been, Tel was a genuine, generous, kind, once in a lifetime kind of person. Both Tel and Carrie had shown me generosity and kindness that one could never expect of practical strangers and for that i'll be eternally grateful. I'll be scouring through some old groups for his old music, to sign this off, that man had a f**king stellar taste in music. Goodbye Tel. Russell.
Today is the first I have heard this news I had been wondering what happended to him He was always helpful, he has helped me a number of times. He was a star member, gutted that i thought he just left RIP
Wherever he's gone, peeps there gonna have a whole heap of rep by now. Rep in peace you grumpy old *******.
I came across something that reminded of the old bugger, while I was digging through boxes in the garage for something else, and I realised I hadn't checked in. Lest we forget
Still using them PWN fan controller he forwarded to me almost 10 years ago. I think about him each time I change the speed
The 4 way SLI bridge he sent me FREE OF CHARGE is still on display in my display cabinet of geeky stuff. Keep raising hell Teel.
I was watching a documentary about hazardous new inventions during the Edwardian period and remembered jhanlon303 when they started to talk about asbestos. Took me 15 minutes but I found him on Facebook. The old codger is still alive! That's him for sure, you can see his old PC mods down the page. Unfortunately, I'm sad to report that he lost his wife just weeks ago.
