Graphics 1060 6gb or 1070?

Hi there,

Im looking to upgrade my graphics cards due to some issues with bf1 (and part i want to).

I currently have 2x 770s in sli. Im looking between the 1060 6gb or the 1070 (founders) and cant make my mind fullu up. Part of me is thinking to go for the 1070 as futureproofing but the other part is its 100 quid more.

I currently have 2 1920x1080 monitors and one is failing so looking for an upgrade which id debate getting a 1440p one. On the whole though is the 1070 worth the extra money though?

If you can afford it, get the 1070. It will definitely help at 1440p.

 

1070 is perfect for 1440p

 

Just found a 1070 founders (zotac) at overclockers that i can go collect on monday so its all been decided

I have a 1920x1080 monitor (27 Inch Acer)
I bought a 1070 to ensure I could max out Deus Ex, a game very high on my 2016 'look forward to playing' list.
I can put all settings to max and I mean all apart from MSAA where X2 is about as high as I want to go without the frame rate dipping into the low thirties.
It depends on what you play of course but if you can stretch, I would go for a 1070.
