    The new dark style is made. There are just a few issues with the import. It's my top priority as soon as i get into the office tomorrow.

    I can confirm.. there is a dark mode. I can also confirm it is not ready yet. I was broken for a little while before MLyons saved me :D

    At this point i'm tempted to just make an all white theme and just turn the dark theme into something that only works on April fools.

    I'll post a screenshot of the theme tomorrow and work on trying to get it to work.

    As a basis to work off, it's looking great so far!

    I definitely agree with points about the colour coding, some bits end up looking a little messy right now. It would definitely be good if stickied posts were more distinct so that it's easier to see where the normal threads start. Likewise, injecting colour back into the thread flairs would be welcome.

    A new Dark theme is available, I'm aware there will still be a few bits of text that need to be tweaked. but for those that hate the white theme this can now be used and as always feel free to send any feedback to me

    Unfortunately i can only set it site wide instead of per user :sigh:. These smilies took longer than you would think to find and get into the new forum.

    Soz, it's just that pure white fonts on pure black backgrounds are visually as bad as pure black fonts on pure white backgrounds.

    Web design guru he says: "Always avoid pure white and pure black fonts and backgrounds."

    Yeah, I turned off the dark mode, slightly worse than white if you have failing eyesight.

    I agree it's currently not perfect but that's what happens when you tell the developer your'e being blinded by the current options, which was a valid complaint btw. If any of you can come up with hex or rgb colours to use that would be wonderful and save me a bunch of time. I'll also go around and soften up the style in some places. Actually second thoughts if you guys can come up with any exact colours you want anywhere specific it would greatly speed up the time it takes me to apply fixes. :thumb:
