Hey. Well this Modification First Started as a DVD Player PC, But it turned out that the Chassis I was Originally going to use was way too small to fit a ATX Mobo. Since this was goin to be made out of old Components or Free Components that I could get my Hands On. This is what has happened so far in the Modification. That is a Picture of a Section of the Intial Casing. That is the Bottom with the Sides and bottom all in one peice. Just Another Shot of the section of Casing Another Shot with my Nokia 6100 As a Scale Comparison The Unit will be (WxDxH) 443mm x 438mm x 185mm So the Unit is pretty HuGE! The Specifications of this Unit are: Intel Pentium !!! 733Mhz Gigabyte (Unknown Mobo) 256MB PC133 Ram 30Gb Western Digital Hard drive Pioneer DVD-120S Slot DVD Drive Aopen 250W Powersupply Matrox Millenium G400 Dualhead Videocard Winfast TV2000XP Deluxe TV Tuner Advance ALS4000 Sound Card Cooling will be taken care of: 1x Papst 12V 120MM Fan 1x Sunon 12V 120MM Fan 1x YS-Tech 60MM Fan off Thermosonic Thermoengine Thermal Take Volcano 7 Heatsink with Above Fan
its gona look sweet when its finished, make sure u post plenty of pics of the finished article. i was thinkin of doing somthing simular to a CD ROM so i can see the insides workin through the top window of my case. yay 75 posts!!
Well I dont think its right to call it a DVD PLayer PC anymore since the fact that there isnothing being used off a DVD Player. Sure the Unit has a DV DRom but do you call you PC a DVD Player PC? I really need to get a Soundcard that Supports DTS, Dolby 5.1, Dolby ES and THX
Well here is another Update. It is just some 3D Sketch Drawings of What I am planning to build out of Perspex 3D Casing The DVD Mount The HDD Mount For What i can say for my Modelling is that im a

Dude, this is coming along nicely. You're about teh same height as my friend Mase...albeit (and no offense intended) you're a bit heavier. How the hell did you get so tall man, is everyone in your family tall (everyone in his is, thats why I ask). So far, so good. I wish my school had a shop...stupid Texas private school was so backwards I barely graduated with a 3.7 gpa...ugh. And I realize you might not be at a private school, its just that uniforms haven't kicked in around here. Awesome shop, everything at your disposal, I assume
Yeh both parents are tall. I am 150Kgs but its mostly muscle. I am at a Private Sk00l. Downstairs there is a Metal Working room and i am in a Plastic Working room. Above me is a wood working room with each class having a range of different Rooms.
6'7"?!?!?! that's amazing. I bet no one messes with you Good luck on the case, it looks pretty interesting, so I'm gonna watch it closely
hope you goto a chiropractor anyways nice work.. my school butchered the shop classes. they saved the jewelry shop tho -_- nothing like buffing a heatsink in a room full of 30 girls making necklaces and earings. Anyways great project I love to see people hand fabricating cases.
Well since it is al prspex i only hvae to stay in one class. I am waiting or g-gnome to move this thread into Project Logs
