Some people commented that they didn't realise UKIP had so many members until they were mentioned for resigning... :p

UKIP voted, Bolton won, they should get over it... They can't go changing their mind because they don;t like the result...

    Bolton means Bolton...

Here's the perspective of Alan Sked, founder of UKIP. He is less than kind about Farage and Bolton...

EDIT: Two further members of Ukip’s senior team have resigned bringing the total to 15.

So how does it work... with everyone seemingly getting a turn as UKIP leader, in the Cabinet and Shadow cabinet?

Is it a 15-minutes of fame like deal? Do you do it in preference order? Draw Straws?

    Spin the bottle. :p

    Meanwhile, from the FT:

Meanwhile Land Rover is cutting jobs at Halewood plant.

    Yup, Brexit keeps on giving.

Yes, Jaguar Land Rover... often touted as a 'Great British sucess story'... just gloss over the fact it's owned by Indian conglomerate Tata.

When they announced the renewal of the local Metro fleet, predictably people were like 'they should be built in/by the UK'... Ok, which wonderful british company would you like to build them? [assuming their order book isn't already booked full] - Hitatchi [Japanese], Siemens [German], Alstom [French], or Bombardier [Canadian]?

Is that why Boris piped up about the extra £350m £100m per week for the NHS?

It should be pretty clear by now that the NHS is going to used, in part, to fund Brexit, i guess Boris is readying himself for 2019 by painting himself as the saviour of the NHS.

Because he's making a run at May. Why do you think he's suddenly piping up with all of these stupid ideas and releasing them to the papers?

He knows he can't deliver it, but he can use it for leverage/gearing

Hasn't May said she's stepping down as leader sometime in 2019, it seems he's setting himself up for then rather than trying to undermine May, she seems to be doing OK at that all by herself. ;)

Speaking of senior doctors not being allowed to take up jobs in the NHS, doesn't that rather undermine the idea that being a member of the EU means we have no control and unlimited immigration from the EU?

He doesn't want to wait, he has a chance now. Anything he says in the next two week is him positioning himself and his chums for a move.

    Night of the long stilettos...

I've always thought that his sociopathic buffoonery is a brain stem function. :p

I am perfectly happy for BoJo or even Rees-Moth to have a crack at leadership. The higher they are built up by a gullible public, the more devastating the public rage and their downfall when they inevitably fail to deliver.

No better way to guarantee Labour into power by 2022.
