Right, so I've built a nice little HTPC and I wanna know if I can use my rear projection HDTV monitor with it. the PC has a LAN connection so i would like to do the occasional web browsing/downoading with it. would burn in be a problem with the web/games ? If so are there any ways to avert it or lessen the chances of it happening?

    thanks

HDTV is pretty high resolution so it should be fine. Be careful about burn in its pretty easy to do it, turning down the brightness can help.

Have a look at the back of the TV if it has vga/dvi inputs, if so your in luck. Just find the correct cable and blam, your in. If not you could use a svideo cable from the pc depending which gfx card you have to the tv.

You're going to need a graphics card with tv-out!
