    Stans No Tubes sealant.

Even with my far from perfect rim taping and not-even-close-to-tubeless-ready wheels, a couple of oz's of this magic liquid has made the tyres fully inflate and hold pressure... and I only had a tiny hand pump too! Stuff is the tits, man.

The poster I painted for a (national but admittedly not very well known) competition got in the top 20 and I won a bag with cookies and chocolate. Genuinely didn't expect to hear anything back so this was a very nice surprise .

Progress makes my life awesome - it's actually looking like a bike, not a box of parts!

Looks great man. I am still waiting for cranks fgs. I *think* they are being redelivered today. I hope so, it's been about a month since I ordered the failcranks from China.

There we go. No cranks :(

    This. Just this, all day.

It turns out the bolts I ordered were actually long enough, though it won't hurt to fit the 8.5mm in place when they arrive. Worked out beautifully and I love the cranks (they are very retro modern). What does make me lol is that the "bash guard" (or trouser guard in this case) cost more than any other component on the cranks lol.

I fixed up my Grandma's old sewing machine which she gave me over 12 years ago, and I'm learning to use it. It gathered dust in the basement during all these years because I thought it was broken, and was told that it would cost more to have it fixed than buy a new one. Turns out it wasn't broken at all, it just needed to be cleaned, and f****** oiled.

Nothing broke over the weekend and a change we made Friday helped lower temps by 7C over the weekend which even with the cold weather is still an improvement.

Got the final cheque through from the pet insurance t'other day, which means a £3,000-ish bill has now cost me about £375. Bit of a relief, that!

Are standards there set so low that 'nothing broke' is an achievement? :p

Next it'll be 'well at least nobody died'

Of course it would have been rude not to mod it.

ASD/OCD... wouldn't be surprised if V-T spent weeks with spirit levels getting them level and lined up...
