Electronics usb firewire front mounts

im looking for some usb and fire wire attachments so i can add them to the front or side of my pc, allowing me to plug directly into them. im not sure what they are called and so my serch has been fruitless. any ideas where i can get them from? also want the same in serial.

Sounds like you want a front bay multimedia thingy... here's one from Newegg, but it doesn't have serial:

actually i was looking for the bits not in a bay mount. i want to choose where i mount them.

 

check out www.allelectronics.com and search for the little headers for usb, etc. (not sure if they have them though) also you could either rip some off an old motherboard, or buy the thing that Madyeti posted and rip it apart and redo it like you want it to be...

you could also buy a cheap usb hub and dissect that too...

 

Try FrontX... You can either buy a full bay insert or just the individual ports so you can mod them in yourself. They even have cut-out diagrams you can download.
