    The "nice ones" works.[IMG]

In these photos we will see the wiring of the Cryochamber backlight in the supporting structure and the normal and UV LEDs in the upper part.

I'm not going to list what I pulled down from heaven because it would be from censorship, but you can see well the difficulty I had in obtaining the seats for the LEDs microcaves and everything else with Dremel and drill with through tips for all the wiring , of course being very careful not to break anything given the particularity of the piece, if I had ruined it would be a problem.

At the end after having also mounted the upper part I positioned the two led strips, one amber and one UV as previously mentioned.

The end result is how I wanted it, with wiring and invisible leds.

I also leave a very short video of the operation (obviously in the dark and live makes it triple).

    Stay tuned.

    Forward with your head down.[IMG]

    Still a lot to see.

Here's how the upper floor looks like after completing the backlighting at the Cryochamber.

I also tried the temporary positioning of the tanks.

    All perfect.

    Stay tuned.

    We proceed.[IMG]

After almost completing the wiring that has almost the unrealistic work required, we proceed with the very first stages of the tubing.

The photos start from the final preparation of the upper floor with the assembly of the interconnection fittings in the lower part to make sense of the sequence.

In these photos we begin to see the particularity and details of the whole.

The assembly is just as complicated, and the parts must be assembled in a certain sequence, even with modifications during construction, such as the arrangement of sleeved cables for the connection of the RGB lighting of the flow meters.

Particularly noteworthy is the difficulty in connecting pipes between the upper part and the lower part.

The rest is understood well by the photos.

    Stay tuned.

    Update.

    Problematic painting.[IMG]

We begin to paint the armor around the MB a very difficult painting given the many details to be done with the airbrush and in addition to prepare for the backlighting.

But this compared to the theme painting of the armor of the Maximus IX Formula is little more than a joke.

The motherboard as we can see from the photos has the armor painted so as to let see the tiny textures of the classic ROG pattern and should be completely masked in some specific areas, because if the paint goes where it does not have to go is dark.

Airbrushes and hand finishing are also provided here.

NB. The work on these 2 parts is not completed and it is only at the first stage where everything is very rough, as soon as I finish I will post the pictures of the complete and finished work.

To complicate my life, I study them all.

    Stay tuned.

    Update.[IMG]

Asus Maximus IX Formula aeromod and closing cover / armor.

Here is the presentation of the MB and the armor / cover closure after painting, airbrushing and finishing.

In the photos the various stages of the process including the painting of the tiny ROG pattern completely hand made with a small modeling brush that you can not even see so much is small, and to get to color with the fluo the slats are not counted.

In the photos we can also see all the details of the armor / cover and of course the mb reassembled.

As usual, the photos present the finished work first and then the work phases.

    Stay tuned.

    Update:

    Advanced stage.[IMG]

And here are the photos that begin to make understand The look, the size, and the difficulty of making this monster.

As already mentioned, in the photos we will see the final assembly of the motherboard and the various procedures for the definitive assembly of the cover / armor around the mb with backlight and the LCD thermometers to keep the liquid temperature of each of the 2 loops under control.

In a particular photo we see the predisposition for RGB lighting (with relative 4-pin connectors dedicated) of the custom backplates that I will go to realize for the 2 1080 TI, and that obviously will be driven by the Aura software.

The goal is to make invisible backplate cabling.

Still to be seen even if the mod is at a good point and does not miss much at the end, there are still many details to be painted and finish, and during the work then I have come to mind improvements and other parts to add.

    Stay tuned.
