We have the Project X Chassis (name to be confirmed) it is a hybrid open frame chassis designed with watercooling in mind and a mad design. How about these for the people who don't like RGB, we have the new P100 Evo which has a 5.25£ drive bay for those who still want one Pricing likely to be around £79 The P5 is our new mATX perfomance focused chassis but with a nice low price of £59. More details to come later on. The already launched P7 in red, we have it also available with Green accents - already available to buy in the UK from major resellers. And now for the RGB fan-boys! And our new ARGB Fans themselves, they will be availabel in 120mm and 140mm versions. Next we have our new range of memory, DDR3, DDR4 with speeds from 2400mhz on DDR up to 3600mhz and offerings inbetween also. With RGB options too. Pricing to be confirmed. We have black versions, white versions and our newly partnered TUF version in partnership with Asus. For PSU we are showing our NE series of PSU wiht the TUF branding co-op again. We have our new Signature series of PSU, which are 80 Plus Platinum rated too The Krypton Case is extremely modern and cool looking, supporting EATX motherboards, Tempered Glass on both sides top and front - with a hinged door for the glass. RGB fans complete this style and the PSU shroud is actually removable giving a wealth of build options.
Why not? We have partnered with an excellent OEM and we have secured a great price, combined with some of our customers asking for us to move into new segments. It is a great time to follow Antec. We actually have more new ranges coming in the future also, however it's still a secret for now. If I told you, I'd have to kill you.... (or maybe I will be fired haha)
I was genuinely interested in the products but then decided to be an ass. DevDoge will be going to the kennels
This is like saying Apple use parts/components from another company so therefore an apple phone is a repackage? Same as PSU production, there are only a small number of factories in the world who manufacture too. CWT, Seasonic, Delta, Great Wall, FSP, Enhance Electronics etc... For example - BeQuiet PSUs all made by FSP or Seasonic. Coolermaster PSUs all made by FSP, Seasonic or Enhance Electronics EVGA PSUs all made by Seasonic, FSP or SuperFlower. Thermaltake PSUs all made by Seasonic, FSP, CWT or HEC Corsair PSUs all made by CWT or Great Wall. (they stopped using Seasonic a while back) So what if we use one of the 3-4 major factories to produce our RAM - thats what the other brands do also!
Have had a quiet word with our inhouse DevDoge and with the subtle use of jump leads, electrolyte and a jolly large battery, shown him the error of a sentence up there/\ I've spoken to the Acemodder and requested he shrinks those bad-boih images right down as they're humungous ;-) cheers gents. DEFCON 5 resumed- this was not an all out Spamfest from Mars, it was a very high res upload that melted my phone ;-)
Will the RGB fans need a controller or anything or work just plugged into the motherboard? Seriously thinking of getting some to amplify the rainbow effect of my setup.
The RGB fans will come with a controller, but if you have an ARG motherboard you can use that to control the lighting. @Zak33 - Images are now reduced and more info added to that post
Apples (pun not intended) and Oranges. Even if Apple did nothing but install ios on lets say a Samsung Galaxy 9 it would still be two functionally distinct products due to the different operating systems. Choosing between Samsung / Micron / SK Hynix RAM and picking a colour for the heatsink simply doesn't have the same impact, effectively making RAM a boring product. But does that make it wrong for Antec to sell RAM? Nope.
For those of us genuinely interested in components a bit more detail than 'why not?' would be appreciated. Such as, with regards to your post, who is producing your RAM and what are you bringing to the table that should make me want to consider Antec branded RAM over companies already proven in this field that I've used before. Thanks.
@acemodder - Tell them to mount those AIO's in the pictures so the logo stands up straight ! Anyway, the RAM ... B-die ?
Well we are bringing out a range which is suitable for many various uses. Single colour LED, or RGB LED, no RGB. We are providing a nice new brand for you to consider. More details of who is producing our RAM will come later. But if you want some spec info here you go. Long image I know
