You mean those Bass Shaker things?

    excellent!

I used to use the Azltec Lansing ACS33, they look puny but I turned the volume all the way up then walked up 3 flights of stairs and i could still hear them

I am aware of the butt-kicker.
It's a more powerfull version of what I am using.
But I bought mine surplus, but they still get the job done.

I have been doing a little work here and there.
Mostly re-design, getting ready for a "final attack"
But currently I have some other projects both at work and home that have deadlines, and the Media PC keeps taking back seat.
I now have a awsome tool that should help speed things along.

    soft

:jawdrop: is all I can say
you  is anotherbeen reading the short versions to your last two big projects here, really original
regarding software you will need, I have found something because I ve been looking into stuff like this a long time:
    www.girder.nl
    and
    http://www.misterhouse.net/
girder is very powerfull on windows and so is misterhouse in adition misterhouse works also on unix like system. the later, mh requiers perl programming and is fairly easy to use but girder combines very powerfull interface, scripting and event model and is really really easy to use once you get the hang of it.
They both provide all you need from x10 to ir devices and so on and both are extendable.
sorry if they were mentioned before
oh...right...both are free for full personal use
looking forward to seeing more work on this project

My roommate got some of those Aura bass shakers for our living room. They do their job quite nicely.

Its pretty hard to find a UK supplier of the bass shakers! I have been trying for ages. I think that your best bet is to contact jaharrow@NOSPAMpacbell.net. He will supply them to the UK even though shipping is pretty pricey!
