Thermaltake casemod invitational.


Known as Hardk (or Hardkmodder in my modding accounts), I am 34 years old and studied for computer technician but finally ended up working for the family company as a painter and a remodeler. Anyway, my hobbies have always been related to building any kind of objects: I like being a cosmaker and making props and replicas of artefats from my favourites TV series, movies or books; I also enjoy remote control cars/boats/drones and taking them apart to understand how they work.

I have my own workshop and I always loved to modify my computer cases to make them look different and unique just for myself. I know it is a matter of taste but I like steampunk (and dieselpunk), dark, postapocalyptic, worn out styles better than regular modifications. It was not until last year that I started to think about it in a more professional way and I participated in my first competition enouraged by my friends. I loved the experience and I want to challenge myself even more.

The case Thermaltake has chosen this year for us to modify is the “Thermaltake view 91”. Each modder has its style and personally I like to maintain the essence of the case. The peculiarity of this one is that it has glass lids, so let’s keep that.

I’m going to turn it into a submarine… no, not going to be able to immerse (sorry) XD. But we will make some madness (be sure of that). During these two months I will post photos and videos of my progress, keep an eye on them.
