Sorry i couldnt wait and popped over for my own sneak preview :)

The end result was amazing:rock::rock::rock::rock: Your best to date :thumb: Not many case mods take you on a modding journey like this did and the fact you don't use lasers and printers to build your works of art puts you in a league of your own... A true artisan. :dremel:

And finally after another real modding oddysey, I am proud to present
100% Handmade without any auotomation whatsoever.

    SPARTACUS, MOD OF THE ARENA
    Over 700 hours Later

    Over 1300 selfmade parts later

I have really been through blood sweat and sand for this one.
It took a lot of research to get some of the elements right.

What cannot be seen on the pics, will be in the videos. That the sword is actually a switch magnet puller.
Hence, only when the sword is stuck in, will Spartacus fire up.
Then we have the chain and pulley monitor lift which can pull up the moniotr by flipping a hidden switch.
Apart from that, both top front sides have a Dagonaut axe, each which are the reset and power switches.
many more details can be seen on the Photos and videos are to follow.

It shows more than one mod, but Spartacus is included. unfortunately i am not demonstration the Monitor lift here yet though. So that will be in our video.

    SPARTACUS,
    MOD OF THE ARENA
    72 BC

including a real gladius sword to turn it on via
the inbuilt nagnet switch. runs only with sword.
a gladiator helmet and other weapons.
    back leather armour breast plate
axes which are switches for on, off and reset.
    gauntlets as reservoir pump combos.
    semi arena in the back.
    roman shield hiding the elevatable
motorised touch screen lift with roman chains
    and pulley technology.
with all other relevant details like leather, scaled plates,
roman standarts, cartwheel flow indicators and whatever
i could come up with for this very special theme
about the greatest rebel of all time.

based upon a Thermaltake Core P90 but its
had the **** modded out of it :)

Hi guys and thanks to Bit-Tech for the nomination to mod of the month.
Thanks to everyone who like my hand made mods and I am always grateful for every vote.

SPARTACUS, MOD OF THE ARENA was really a long ride.
750 hours of diving into the theme all about the man we know as SPARTACUS. Captured by the Romans, enslaved, totured and underestimated. The great Gladiator went on to become the greatest rebel and freedom fighter of all time.

A final video is still in the making and here are some pics again.

Aye, that's cap doffing attention to detail there. Just looking at it (and thinking of all of the work it took) makes my brain hurt.

    Stunning work as ever, Ali.

Edit. May I ask that you maybe do a future mod based on the Mary Rose or HMS Victory? I would love to see either :D

@Vault-Tec : well actually, considering that some of my first ventures into the world of creativity were making caravels, junks, and east indiamen ships, why not.
hms victory is actually already on the long list of themes i want to build. the problem is one life just doesnt seem to be enough as they keep coming at me.
i woul of course make my own elements and greebly detailed version. it wouldnt be in the shape of a ship, but it would tell the hms victory tale just be the details it posses. who knows.
by the way, i actually did make two commissioned world of warships mods as well. here are some pics.
i dont post commissioned stuf really because its minimally also used laser and all that stuff that i criticise in my art. but their is more hand worked stuff even in them too to knock out any standard handmade mod though :) it was an order of 2x world of warships, 2x world of tanks and 1 total war arena.

its all a mixture of hand and machine made. so i wont call this art, even though many do.
what i mean to stress the point is. the second warchip i made was much quicker because the laser files were already written and because i didnt have to think of ideas, just copy them or better what didnt really work. as a casemodding artist, thats the way i like to think. even though i had to write and draw the files myself, lets not fool eachother. its much easier to use automation. so its not art in comparison to for example, SPARTACUS.

"had the **** modded out of it "
Indeed it did. :D I love your work, even if it gets really hard to follow with you bouncing from different details. (Wait, I confuse people like that too. )

Laser cuts: I'm OK with this. I know most people commissioning stuff have no clue how long it takes to make things. I've heard one month and even one week deadlines before. Things like those handrails would be a nightmare to make by hand anyway.
