My favorite is Philip Davis saying how he appreciates they all think Brexiteers are thick and they are very clever. He's actually saying that without a hint of irony not realising that unless he and his ilk produce some sort of alternative then 'they' are indeed being thick, it's the height of hypocrisy to deride a solution to a problem if you're either unwilling or unable to offer an alternative, any alternative, anything.

They got us into this mess and 2 years on from having won the argument they've still not produced a coherent solution to all the problems, and yet when someone tries to solve the enigma that is Brexit they act like they're being betrayed, maybe if they actually put some substance on the bones of sound bites, hyperbole, and rhetoric then they'd come across as being more than a bunch of thicko's who don't understand the real life problems.

As the idiom goes it's time to put up or shut up as their interminable procrastinating risks causing even more damage to real peoples lives.

 

Will be interesting to see if weak and wobbly has the guts to confront the DUP over what they armed thugs are doing...

I'm not sure our politicians care much about what happens in NI outside of it being a thorn in the side of the journey to the promised land.

Yes, but I imagine he's had very little external agreement beyond snivelling little yesmen that he should try - He's now had it from the leader of one of the biggest, if not the biggest, superpowers in the world.

 

Problem for BoJo is that he lacks self-confidence. It's why he blusters so much; that's why all the histrionics. He tends to self-sabotage when he gets anxious. Hence all those faux-pas he keeps making. When he had the chance to run for PM he chickened out. He'll chicken out again.

 

I'd like him to chicken out into a deep fat fryer. He shouldn't be allowed near anything that involves decision making.
