Zuckerbot doesn't have a memorable enough personality (the absence of one does not count), he could spend his entire fortune on the campaign trail and people would forget he even exists the moment the adverts ended.

It's probably how he's avoided prosecution too, like The Silence from Dr Who, they influence the world and avoid destruction because no one can remember that they were there.

He's shown how the montain of data he sits on can be used to swing an election. And him being a total non-event of a person merely means, like trump, he's virtually immune to scandal.

 

Not sure what Musk was smoking when the Pedo allegation was dropped, but I don't see why everyone is sh|tting on him about the mini-sub. Elon was asked by the lead rescue diver to develop the system incase one or more of the kids wasn't able to get out via SCUBA. It ended up not being needed, but that doesn't make it PR stunt; in fact Elon initially said he thought the Thai government had everything under control, but would help if requested.

While he manged to fund and mange some great projects his business practices especially his employment conditions have been a bit shady for a while

 

I think Elon's problem is that his brain just works on a different level to most people - A problem comes up and he immediately goes into inventor mode and wants to engineer something overly expensive, complicated and impressive to solve it, regardless of the practical implications.

I'm honestly surprised he hasn't started a mission to go collect water vapour from nearby comets to put an end to the hosepipe ban...
