Down to 43s from 51s I have booted to the windows logon screen at 2518 and 458mhz but it then rebooted that was after just completing this time so think ill try again tomorrow when its cooled down

nice time dood, and nice clock speed If only mine would clock up past 2600Mhz Welcome to bit-forums mate!
Tried the first oc on my new trusty 1.6 duron and here are the results: would boot at 2ghz but not stable 12.5% overclock
I managed 38s today after some insane idea to see how far I could push the chip... I was so unstable that trying to get a screengrab resulted in explorer crashing, and the whole PC becoming very unresponsive... first time it didn't save it as the fastest time I'd recorded, second attempt it did if only I could get it to screengrab, I'll have another go later at screengrabbing. It was at 2660Mhz (213x12.5) 2.2v
does anyone have a high end P-M to have a crack at it? my 1.4 get a rather nippy (for a 1.4) 50 sec, I would be interested to see what a 1.7GHz Pentium-M could do
Just a few questions for AMD what processor is Orion? also what hardware does this Super-PI program really stress..my guess is CPU and memory...?
I forgot who but someone recently bought a centrino 1.7ghz samsung laptop infact there's a recent thread in general discussion. Anyways, Intel Pentium - M is Centrino right ???
it's a test of CPU speed and memory speed, the tighter your memory timings, the faster it'll run. Pentium M is part of the Centrino platform yes, it's the processing part of the technology, but it's not a centrino without the Intel 855 Chipset & the Intel Pro/Wireless 2100 WiFi Connection The Orion was a slot A processor ( big mofo cartridge style )
just thought u guys might want to read this. http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=808&page=3
my dad's work computer, with tons of processes running while not been shut down for over 4 days..... edit: will try later after restart and stopping of services EDIT2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: it's a p4c800 deluxe with a gig of ddr 400!
Edit: FIgured it out Anyone notice in mymuiltplier it is XXX x 12 when I noticed everyone elses is higher. How would make that 12 higher? Or does it not even matter?
you cant make it higher pentium 4s are multiplier locked the only way to overclock it is to increse the fsb mind you that cpu you have there wil go a hell of alot higher than it is at, this is mine... that is with a 5:4 divider, i normally run it at 3.3GHz 1:1
i doubt many people here have them because for 1/10th the cost you can overclock a 2500+ to preform on par with an FX51 doesnt really mak a lot of sense if you ask me is that a dual or single xeon you have there?
Tonight I will get some results up with my FX51 (Running Win2k) At 2.2ghz, 2.4ghz, and 2.5ghz if it will do it.
