Remembering that I think I might have sold some things on here like five years ago and then got dumped and went on a year long bender and forgot about it...

Er, I'll go through my posts now and see if I can figure it out.

If you do happen to remember buying something from me a long time ago and not receiving it, I'm terribly sorry. Let's figure it out.

    Also, giant ******* hornets.

Just finished putting my pc together (yay), start monkeying around in the bios, all good, nice and shiny, mousey clicky and keyboard tappy all good. Right time to install windows, boot from dvd all good, loading the files and things, get to first language choice screen and poof!! No more keyboard or mouse support on ANY USB port...

Try swapping things around, try the front ports, usb 3, 2, nothing, try another usb keyboard, nope. Absolutely fuming, now I have to see if I can dig up an old ps/2 keyboard just to install windows. Not best pleased at all, been waiting for months to get this up and running again.

All good for some time cheers :).

Oh that's right! Thanks for the 37 million quid it really helped out!

    Hello hello!

Ok, going through post history and PMs... I think, I *think* everything went out and there are no PMs asking for stuff, I had no unread PMs so... Maybe it is all ok?!

Unemployment! Almost four months to the day since I finished my uni coursework (got a 1st Class Honours) and have had no success with job hunting. It's a blessing that my wife has work as it means we can stay afloat as things are, but damn I'm bored and weary.

I'm pretty sure there are a few others on the forum on the unemployment wagon as well. I feel your pain.

Shitty health. If my hernia isn't hurting my foot usually is and if I'm lucky they'll both kick off at the same time. Then because I'm having to walk like a spasticated Verbal Kint, my knee will pipe up and try and rearrange itself every now and then.

**** shopping. Next won't accept a return of shoes that don't fit because I've worn them. Well, yes, that's how I know they don't fit properly. So now I have to go to the bother of finding a way for them to break to return them for a refund, rather than exchanging them for a different pair. I also have to repair of jeans I ordered online as they don't fit. But the other pair I ordered do, even though they're the same size. Admittedly one is loose fit and the other straight fit, but I already have a pair of 36L straight fit jeans from Next that fit nicely, so why in God's name do these new I one's have zero room for buttocks!? Those will go back with the shoes but then I'll have to try and get another pair. That fit. But God knows in what size/fit/universe combination.

Oh and God. I have to go to church for 9 on Sunday morning for wedding stuff. I'll have to get up the same time I do for work. We could go to the 11 mass, but that's the 'sung in Latin special edition'.

Just generally in a 'can everyone please stop being a ****ing retard or someone's gonna get hurt' kind of mood.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not particularly surprised, if still disappointed.

Unfortunately it became the cherry on a doozy of a shitty day.

One of my SSDs just went undetected in Windows mid use and BIOS following a reboot.

The one with my actual data on. I’m pretty sure I have a good backup for the irreplaceable stuff on my NAS. Hoping so anyway.

Taking apart my system to sell on, and got distracted whilst disassembly, and I managed to bend some socket pins, managed to get the system to post, but one dimm slot is now unusable, urgh. This is my first major boo boo whilst building and repairing system.

Easy to fix with some delicate handy work and a tiny flat head screw driver. :)

Unfortunately those types of things only seem to happen at important times.
