Try bringing VCCIN down. It can negatively impact OCs.

Thanks I have dropped it down quite a fair bit with no impact on my stable 4.8. Am now dropping vcore to see if I can get away with less when running lower VCCIN.

Typically it needed to be about 0.5v above Vcore, but honestly, you are able to get away with less. Devil's Canyon (if I remember rightly) used to behave worse with more VCCIN.

    Thanks for the reply.

If I drop below 1.30v core or 1.787 VCCIN when I stress with AIDA it crashes. Hitting my head against the wall at the moment with how to lower volts further for lower 4.8 overclock. Thermals are not an issue with the below settings and AIDA I'm getting about 55-58c with a fairly inaudible fan setup.

Maybe I should just be happy with that and its safe for 24/7 use as long as not 100% all day long.

    Current settings I am using.

Then you've absolutely found your minimum voltage. Set it to 1.325v and 1.8v respectively, and you should never have to worry about instability. :)

Bartx makes nice stuff, been teasing a new GPU pot recently which looks sweet.

He does make very good stuff. The truth is that your IHS is also copper, but it’s covered with nickel to make sure it doesn’t oxidize.

Yes I had read they were covered that way. Didn't think about the oxidization. Nothing like a heatsink with a patina on it? :)
