I am modifying a very old cooler master 1000 for a new build. The front control panel is hugely outdated now so I would like to redesign it. I am struggling to find any 5v power and reset buttons suitable to be wired to the motherboard? Does anyone know where I can get such switches preferably in chrome with a red led ring. Also am I correct in saying that the switch would have to be momentary non latching 5v? Can you link me to one if possible. Thanks, Josh
The switch itself can be momentary on, non-latching at any voltage rating. Searching 'bulgin switch' or 'vandal switch' should give you hundreds of options.
Thanks for the reply, I'm getting many results now. For some reason it was told I could use a switch with a max voltage of 5 volts, I assume that is incorrect info Then haha
Sounds like the rating of a surface mount tactile switch. They probably thought you were swapping one out on the existing circuit panel.
