    I'll believe in a No Man's Sky + Elite Dangerous + X + COD: Infinite Warfare + GTA V x San Andreas mega-game when I see it!

The point (and the huge cost sink) with Star Citizen's planets is that they are not procedurally generated, but all manually created assets. Which is why it takes to f&%£@#*g long to make them (and why they are employing several hundred artists). From the devlogs, focus is on getting the portions of systems/stations strung along the Squadron 42 single player campaign storyline finished and polished first, with everywhere else getting concept art and barebones implementations (landing pad + shady guy with a trenchcoat full of starship hyperdrives) until S42 is released.

That plan is also the problem.

But when I threw my £30 into the ring all those years ago I was backing a modernised Freelancer with a multiplayer element and proper six degrees controls instead of Freelancers mouse based thing.

What a long time ago that feels, oh wait, it is a long time ago!

Precisely. Their 'what we want to do' and 'what we can realistically achieve' has been consistently misaligned. The result thus far has been a large dev team with an insurmountable amount of tasks, perpetually moved from one job to the next and never finishing anything.

For example, Hurston in the recent video looks great, but when I log in and see all the "NPC's" squatting on tables upside down, and the mind boggling, incomprehensible UI and control setup, I come back to the reality of - this thing is years away from being an unbroken experience, let alone a good game.

3.3 has been released to the live servers. Many contents have been added, many frames have been found, ingame skype calls are enabled.

Yes. All of that is now working. Also, 3.3.5 containing the 12,000km diameter planet Hurston, its 4 moons & capital city Lorville, has already gone out to Evocati (NDA-controlled) testers.

The bad news is that ArcCorp, 300i revamp & playable ladies have all been pushed back from Xmas' 3.4 to 3.5, due just after Easter.

Non-integer scaling gave me "playable ladles". This time, Roberts has finally gone too far!

The promised SC Telemetry page is up and working*.

*Sort of - It defaults to "last 24hrs", but due to server issues it doesn't have any data. Set it to "Last Week" to see it running.

Sadly, EU players are suffering from a server-side error "15006". CIG investigating...

    NaN%NaN%NaN%NaN%NaN%NaN%NaN%NaN%, hey Jude.

It is quite funny that the thing that is meant to tell you how well the game is working, isn't working :)

@wolfticket It's working now. CIG must've fixed the "15006" error that was blocking EU access to the game over the weekend.

@ocsy - Hover over the boxen to see the system specs. (I don't see any CPUs that old)

Also, 3.3.5 (Hurston & 3 moons) has now been opened to concierge & subscriber players.
