I think tracing some of the tracks on your expansion cards would look good.

sorry for the lack of updates.. been busy... anyway:

i'm planning to paint the chassis of the case... was thinking about matt black... While i have all the hardware out for painting i will cut out the fanholes in the back. however, i have no fans so i was thinking about putting in some standard GOLD fangrills ( i think those looks nice! :) ) mabye i'll put in some colored (uv reactive) plexi behnd (IF i can find some..)

i will also put a mirror in the bottom, again: if i can find some... need it to be custom cut, and i have no idea on where to get that...

    what do you think?

as for the mirror, I found some silver vinyl film that might work for lining the inside of your case. I am not going to use it for that but its an idea. I am not much for the gold grills but whatever you like and think is good, is what counts.

I am not sure where you want to put the UV plexi. Behind the fangrills??

Smilodon, just buy a mirror a little bit too big, and take it to a glass shop and ask them to cut it to size for you. If you are lucky, the glass shop even sells mirrors. Mirror in the bottom sounds cool.

ok.. time for a new update again... just a small one, but still...

i decided that the standard "fangrills" was ugly, so they had to go... but i have no need for fans back there, so here is what i did:

this is a bit temporary.. i will engrave something in that window...

oh! and check out my ghetto thumbscrews :) :dremel: (we need a ghetto smiley)

more updates when i'm finished with that window... i will prpbably get some braided sleeving, and some more UV reactive IDE cables this week...

to bad one of my blue chatodes died.. ohwell.. i guess i'll have to send it back to the store..

Nah, the thumbscrews arnt that ghetto, they fit in really well. The window looks sweet there, shame it wont get much view'age. Mayb someone opposite you at a lan or sumit :S. Great idea and nice originality.

I like the plain look of it atm, what you plannin on engravin on it??

    nice work :)

Yeah, I think an engraved/frosted window would be better...

The frosting/engraving would show the glow of the light a lot better (cos IMHO lots of wires showing thru that window does not look good not).... Much better with some sort of effect on the plexy.

Having said that, you've already done some VERY nice work on that case!! :dremel: Keep on moddin' !! ;) :thumb:
