Hi need a bit of advice regarding a gaming rig for my brothers son budget around £1000 need everything
Does that include a mouse, keyboard, monitor, speakers, headset, gamepad? What kind of games does he play?
How much time can you spend researching? How prepared are you to go into the used market? Right now 1070s on the used market are going for the same price as new 1060s and that's a jump many would take. How important is storage? Do you have anything that can be recycled? Anything at all? Perhaps an old monitor or a PSU?
Playing top titles when in need of a monitor and the rest is going to prove a little troublesome. That's a lot to ask for out of a grand.
Cheers for the input lads yeah I know it's a big ask Just need a rig capable of playing most games at 1080p with room for upgrade at a later date I was thinking maybe a ryzan chip with a rx580 Mouse keyboard doesn't need to be high spec and storage 2tb hdd with a ssd for boot
Should in theory be doable with a Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB of RAM at 3200 MHz and a RX 580 now that I think about it somewhat.
