Just a 4 gang IEC distribution block, B. Useful though.

What's the advantage of that over a standard multi-gang plug socket thingamajig?

You mean a BS1363 - the standard three-pin plug? The main advantage is it takes up a hell of a lot less room. Also, you don't need an individual fuse per connected device.

Cheers for that, makes sense. Presumably it's for stuff that takes kettle leads only (so PSUs, monitors, laptop power adaptors etc)?

It only requires that you have an IEC at the power distribution end; the device end can be whatever you want. I have a bunch of trailing sockets that are IEC at the power end and BS1363 at the device end - so that I can plug power-brick-based-things into a UPS which only has IEC power sockets. You can also buy rewirable IECs so you can just cut the BS1363 off the end of your whatever-it-is power cable and stick one of those on the end - or just buy the right cable in the first place. (But bear in mind, if you do so, you'll also lose the fuse the BS1363 had in it.)

That's TV number two my dear B  :p :D

Ps. For the record it's an LG 32LG6000 Scarlet, it's a retro thing :) (I quietly curse LG it won't die) - I'll take it to a charity shop when I do replace it, it's just to good a panel to just bin it and likely has years of life left in it.

Sorry pet peeve of mine, when people use defined terms incorrectly.
Referring to standard computer power cables (IEC 60320 C13/C14) as kettle cords is incorrect. The C13/C14 cable insulation is not rated for the higher temperatures when boiling water. IEC 60320 C15/C16 are your kettle leads, they have a notch between the the Line/Neutral pins preventing the use of a C13 connector in a C16 socket (but a C15 connector can be used in a C14 socket).

David's distribution block should be describes as a 1x C13 (in) to 4x C14 (out), with 4x C13 to C14 cables. I might have the intermediate socket and plugs Identified wrong as they might be Sheet F and Sheet E respectfully (I am not an expert of IEC 60320).

I am not sure what the block box on the top right is.

I've got one of those, but in the 37" flavour. Still works perfectly, but it's not my main set any more.

Thanks for the pedantry, Dr. Coin. Fortunately @Gareth Halfacree was able to parse my question and answer it despite it not being technically correct.

Just recently sold mine for £20 to someone local after many years of service. Wouldn't surprise me if it outlasted it's replacement though

I've had my LG 8-9 years now. I'd considered replacing it a couple of times but it works perfectly so there's no real point other than upgrade itch. And there's far more interesting thing to upgrade than the tv.

Sod it, for less than a ton, and because it'll just fit I went up a size to the JVC TH-D357B 2.1 Wireless Sound Bar

When night fishing I can hardly see my rod tips so

    Issue resolved.

Also upgraded my head torch, Not completely confident about having 18650s strapped to my head either so I'll just have to check the batteries over before every trip.

RAVPower Wireless Charger Qi - hopefully, avoid damaging the cable port on the phone.
