    Re: Dude

Thx man, "Im in the beginning of something wonderful" ;)

Allright. Ill tell you what ive done so far.

Replaced alot of screws with blue thumbscrews (Planning on getting some more)

Cut out the back fan guard on the power supply and replaced it with a common chrome one, and the same on the fan exhaust on the back.

sleeved just about all wires in the case, (Exept for som PSU cables beacause im getting a new one)

Sleeved with chromed shower hose (Thx Gnome for the idea)

Replaced the CPU fan with a blue transparant one, and switched the existing grill.

And then ive bought 1 blue IDE cable, and one chromed.

And the i exchanged the HDD led and Power Led for blue ones, and then applied a alu fan mesh behind the fan grill on the side.
I got it from a Creative speaker ;)

Then ive stealthed the DvD, painted the front of the case with silver paint (lookes like **** in reallife) but are gonna do it good next time.

And then ive painted the fan controller silver (Was black in the beginning)

Well, I think thats about it.

Doing a total upgrade, so when the case is empty im gonna replace the window with a larger one. :dremel:

Now, you see, yours looks a lot nicer than the review one because it hasn't got that ghastly floppy drive 'gash'.

Nice work on the modding, looks great! :D

    Its "Pre-mod crap" :eeek: ;)

But as i said, I will be cutting out the fan bit of the side, so it will be a "full" rectangle, as soon as i get my upgrades :naughty:

Well, when i get my new upgrades, im gonna start by sleeving the PSU, and paint it black i think. And change the existing fans to alu ones. (Or metall whatever) ;)

Then im gonna cut a new window on the side, saw out a fan hole ontop of the case, and put a alu fan in there as well.

Well, Its like some said "A mod never gets completed"

Just curious, but what's that large, aluminium looking bracket thing on the side of the 5.25" drive bays in picture 2? It looks like something along the lines of a screw retainer or something, to stop the drive screws running backwards and forwards, but the point of that with slotted holes is..?

Instead of screwing the 5.25" things to place you just mount thumb screws on the, lets say DvD and the simply "pop" it in, and the drives are secure.

    Pretty handy ;)
